Features

  • GE150 Max Series, is designed based on MOOER's updated GE series design language. Retain the large knob and quick-press buttons, added 8 multi-purpose footswitches for browsing presets and triggering a wide range of functions. 8 footswitches have been installed to give guitarists more convenient control over presets in a live environment, with the new CTRL mode enabling footswitch mapping to individual modules within each preset for more granular control.
  • Trigger imaginative sounds:200 preset slots across 50 banks of 4 presets. Many different models of delay, reverb, and modulation effects can be applied to these slots. 55 classic amp preamps based on MOOER's in-house MNRS modelling technology that produce realistic emulations of classic amplifier tones. 26 high-quality cabinet simulations and support 3rd IRs loading. The AMP module and cab moduls both have 20 slots for loading MOOER MNRS sample files.
  • Live Stage Solution: The GE150 Max also supports stereo balanced XLR outputs, making the device more suitable for long-distance audio routing in live setups, without signal degradation. Combining this versatile selection of audio routing options with the GE150 Maxs upgraded functionality, guitarists truly have everything they need for professional-grade live performance, all within a light-weight and compact package.
  • GE150 Max edition sports an integrated expression pedal that can be mapped to tone and effect parameters, as well as output volume, adding yet another control mechanism for live expression. Interestingly, though, the Max has been augmented by the new "SPILL-OVER" function. Essentially, this ensures that delay and reverb effect tails will fade out naturally when switching presets, making smoother and more natural transitions possible in a live setting.
  • Guitar Jamming Tool: 80 seconds of looping time allow for creative improvisations and loop-based compositions, and a 40-style drum machine is also provided, complete with 10 metronomes. The previously mentioned "Tap" footswitch can be used to accurately determine the BPM of these features in real-time.

  • Great choice in this price range.
Color: GE150 Pro Li Plum
Are there higher end devices? Yep. Do I have 1 or 2 grand to blow on efx? Nope. Do I need to? Nope. This box has likely more than I will ever use or ever need. Wish you could move the chain around & that it had Bluetooth. I've had both on less expensive items. I feel they really skimped out leaving those out & cheapened the product a bit just to add them to the next tier at a higher price. Nonetheless, at this price, there is a ton to work with & no excuse to not sound great if you know what you are doing or spend the time to learn. Love the battery and I use Bluetooth for the guitar so it is still easily portable & convenient. The effects are not really above average, but are quite good and set & mixed properly sound really great live or recording. Plenty of effects & parameters to work with. Not much of a learning curve considering what it has available. The drum machine is basic but excellent to work in your solitude on rhythms or leads. Looper is sufficient for same. I have paid WAY more for just one or two single effect pedals, so I think this is really excellent & affordable for all it does. If your on a budget, this is an amazing pedal. I could have bought a step up or two, but couldn't justify the price point as this takes care of my needs quite well at a stupid low price. Already used it on 3 recordings and they came out great. Actually worked out very nicely on my bass & keyboards (synths) even though I have a plethora of pedals & rack effects for them already. If you have a bit under 200 bucks to spend for something that covers most of the bases, this is an excellent choice. Tried several others. Bought this one and have ZERO regret. At this price, you just can't lose. Really enjoying it! ... show more

  • UPDATE: Software wouldn't connect but new version (GE150 Plus/Pro V2.1.2 Update (2026.4.23))works
Color: GE150 Pro White
Sound seemed particularly brittle, which I guess is a consequence of the digital processing. Not that pleasing to my ear compared to a similar Boss unit I have. It does have four foot switches, a lot of effects, and does work, so two stars from that, but really didn't deliver on the promise of connectivity and ease of modification. The big issue for me is I was unable to get the software to connect to the device and emails to support went unanswered. I probably invested two to three hours, across three different computers to try to get it to connect but no dice. Can't even upgrade the firmware. I was looking forward to being able to adjust and share mods, but alas that is not to be. Windows also flagged the software as potential spyware which did not give me a warm, fuzzy feeling. And of course I threw out the box once I got it so not going to be able to return (lesson learned). I have a feeling it's going to be gathering dust for a long while. UPDATE: After posting this review, Mooer reached out to me (but never replied to my support request emails...). The latest software update (GE150 Plus/Pro V2.1.2 Update (2026.4.23)) now works, and I was able to update the firmware and connect to the software, so now have full functionality. Still very sensitive to hum - some presets are very noisy, sounds like 60hz hum, but others are very quiet. Still deserves a 5 star given the amazing about of flexibility in tone modification for the price. If I were a performing musician I'd definitely want something with cleaner sound, but for my purposes it's well worth the money now that the software works. ... show more

  • Great Value
Color: GE150 Pro Li Black
This is a fantastic value, sounds great, and is small and convenient. It is a big improvement over my Line6 HD500x. I’m very happy with its performance. However, the instructions are laughably vague and difficult for a relatively easy device to use. In fact, the version updater is only in Chinese. It took a few tries to get it right. NAM integration is exciting, but only NAM 1 may be a problem in the long run. Hopefully future updates will address that. Once it’s up and running, this is a really easy pedal to use, sounds fantastic, and is very convenient. I’d recommend. ... show more

  • Great tones for those on a monetary (and time) budget
Color: GE150 Pro Li Plum
This is a great budget multi effects pedal in a flooded market. We have the Tone Master Pro, the Quad Cortex, and now the Helix Stadium has just been announced. These are extremely technical units meant for tweakers, and gear snobs who are so into a tone they want to adjust the amp model's voltage or bias and capture a tone from their 5k rig. Spend hours tweaking and turning knobs. This pedal doesn't do that. And this pedal isnt for those type of players. So who is for then? As an owner of tube amps that collect dust, obsolete Digitech multi effects pedals, single effect pedals and a Quad Cortex I just bought, it's hard for me to find time to sit down and spend time with these amps and modeling pedals like I used to, deal with their weight or speed time getting presets perfect with snapshots and scenes and all that nonsense. I just want to be inspired to sit down and play. And this unit does that. I can spend time just going through presets and jamming on the tones and maybe a slight tweak here and there but it is instantly gratifying. This is perfect because I can spend less tweaking and more time playing and writing. I stress this part because having a looper and drum machine built in is invaluable for writing and jamming. The fact that it is rechargeable is the cherry on top. I mainly bought this for camping trips with a rechargeable amp so playing outside anywhere with tons of tones is now possible. When I plugged in, I was very pleasantly surprised. There's some great sounds here, but it's no Quad Cortex or Helix, nor is it trying to be. The amp sims sound and play and feel like they should. The UI is easy and I figured it out in 5 minutes. There's no touch screen, no scribble strips, no advanced i/o, no signal chain rounting options, but at this price point, the features they did manage to pack in this thing is very impressive. IRs can even be loaded onto it. I find myself reaching for it more than my more expensive complicated gear due to convenience. I do have some concerns about build quality, particularly the expression pedal which is the very obvious weak point of the whole pedal, it's flimsy, thin, small, bouncy, which makes it hard to get volume to 100, as it rebounds to 90. They do let you calibrate it and program it to any of the amp or effect parameters so that's a plus. Also the LCD screen can be hard to see at times but that is what it is at this price. So to sum up, if you are looking for tons of tones in an easy to use package, a beginner guitarist looking to find their sound on a budget, or looking for portability for outside playing and travel, this pedal should be at the top of your list. It looks like they are adding amps and effects with each update. I bought it on a whim and was blown away. ... show more

  • I am impressed with all this multi-effects pedal offers at this price!
Color: GE150 Max Li
This pedal-board does so much! I've been playing guitar for over 60 years, but this is my first multi-effects and amp sim pedal. This will replace most of what I have on a pedal-board I have refined over the years. A friend let me try out his GE 150 Pro li - I was very impressed. The only downside of that one (for me) was having to press two foot-switches at the same time for some of the functions. This Max version eliminates that - separate foot-switches for scrolling up and down for the effects blocks and tuning. While the Pro version would have worked, this is even easier to use while playing. A tip for any Mooer multi-effects buyer: download the software that allows you to customize the amp sims and effects on your computer - MUCH faster than using the two buttons on the unit... and then remember to "Save" those changes before moving onto the next amp sim. OK, another tip: you can set up the outputs on the back of the unit to run a 1/4" cable into a PA or other flat response speaker, or us the other output to pass-thru the cab sim when going into an amp. Nice feature! The box seems like it will hold up to regular use. I am a fan of the model with the built-in lithium battery (the "li" model) - it eliminates a power cable when playing. The manufacturer says 9 hours of battery life, and that seems to line up with my experience. The built-in tuner is OK, but doesn't hold the image for more than a second or so. You can set it up to mute while tuning or have the sound "pass through" (although I can't imagine why you'd want to do that). There are a couple things you can set up globally, which applies that feature to all the amp sims. The foot pedal at the right side is pretty basic, but you can set it up as a volume pedal or to "sweep in" some of the effects. The pedal-board is well-packed in the box, arrived intact. All in all, a useful piece of gear at a decent price. ... show more

  • Excellent little Amp Modeler with soooo many effects.
Color: GE150 Pro Li Black
Great all in one device for your guitar. There are so many different sounds, it’s a little intimidating. The effects are great, the looper is fantastic. Helpful tuner installed as well and charges with an internal battery which is great for having just a few less cords. Connect it with wireless Bluetooth transmitters and you’re in really great shape! ... show more

  • Great first or replacement multi effects processor
Color: GE150 Pro Li Plum
This is a fun pedal to play with, with so many options. For the price, what you get is un matched in my book. The rechargeable battery is amazing, I jammed with my buddy for 3-4 hours and barely used 50% of battery life. The option to update and load your own IRs is solid and previously only available on the higher end units. The amp Sims are solid. Just play with settings until you find the sweet spot and it will never fail you. The delay types work as they should and sound great. The distortions/overdrives included are so close to their big brand counter parts, having the metal zone back in my grasp is awesome. The choices of tubes as well as mic placement is also a great addition usually reserved for higher end units. There are a good amount of reverb and chorus options that sound clean, and the noise gates work effortlessly. Honestly I bought this because my Line 6 Floor Pod Plus died on me, and I am not mad at all. This is a great, affordable replacement. I will say I'm still figuring out the expression and wah choices. I feel like so far, i am not finding the sweet spot for the Wah/expression options. But it is probably just user error, as there really arent too many videos on the use of that function. But all in all this is an amazing work horse and can get you to the sounds you want and strive for, with ease. ... show more

  • Great value!
Color: GE150 Pro Li Black
This is a great little pedal for the price. The effects leave a lot to be desired but the amps and cabinets are pretty dang good at this price point. I think it's best used with an existing pedalboard plugged into it for effects and overdrive. Also, the expression pedal is pretty useless except for things like the whammy effect and stuff. I saw other reviews mentioning excessive noise and I had that too at first but it was fixed by going into settings and turning the input level down a little bit. No problems after that. I will definitely use it as a direct in to my DAW in my home studio instead of trying to mic my amp. The cabinet section is cool because you can choose tube type, mic type, mic placement and mic distance. Definitely worth the small amount of money it costs. ... show more
