  • Oh worth, it took me a bit to even do this review
Took me a bit to do this review. I just didn't give myself time to do it but it's worth it. It's great product device a lot of presets and effects. It can tweak it up yourself and save it. And it has a cord teacher on it teaches you chords that started messing with that a little bit. Probably a month ago and started understanding how it worked so I buy another one if it broke but it's pretty hefty and well made. Maybe some little bit of staticky feedback. Maybe if you don't have it plugged in very good but if you put batteries in it I think it works better with batteries in it. But it has a AC battery or something like that that you plug into it. But it works great. But I recommend better amp my opinion. But it still works pretty decent PA systems. It will work fantastic on because they don't have built-in distortions and effects and stuff like my aunt does. So I kind of think when I use certain ones like distortion on my aunt to that it just basically gives it a little bit more. Distortion sounds all right but some of the presets suck when I do it with the amps distortion. No complaints here. Great product. ... show more

  • Patches Kinda suck
It’s pretty decent if you’re a beginner guitar player or just messing around with sounds.

  • Many Sounds, Some Good
I bought this with the hope that -- by using the amp modeling -- I could run my rig directly into a Bose-type stick PA on stage, the same one I use to monitor my acoustic guitar and keyboard. I just wanted to cut down on the stage clutter and maybe not have to haul a separate electric guitar amp to each gig. Unfortunately, most of the tones sound kind of brittle and unnatural. So that didn't work out. I was going to just toss it on my pile of cheap effects that didn't make the cut, but then I tried adding it to my pedal board and running into my usual amp. I switched off all the amp modeling and set the tone controls for my personally programmed effects to around zero. A little additional tweaking and I was able to get some very acceptable and usable tones. These effects are not going to rival high-end boutique pedals, but they do sound good enough for most live applications. The chorusing, phase and different wah effects are all quite nice for the money; I'm still trying to chase down a great distortion/overdrive tone from the thing, though. What I've got now sounds ... OK. Unlike a lot of players, I'm not crazy fussy about tone. I'm just a humble rhythm player, so I'm back in the mix a bit already. So "OK" is good enough for me. On the plus side, the pedal is almost ridiculously easy to program, the display is *very* bright, which makes tuning easy even on outdoor stages, and the build quality seems quite high for the price point. Though I had bad luck with the amp modeling, the effects themselves are usable, if not exactly stellar. I'm hoping to squeeze a few more good sounds out of this pedal in time, but for now, it's filling the bill for my live shows. ... show more

  • Great all in one
When you could have a wall of effects pedals (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) or you could have a pedal like this that offers many options in one pedal. Sure it may not exactly produce a authentic 60's era Muff pedal sound, but are you playing at Woodstock this week? Have fun, save money, and be able to eat too. ... show more

  • Bargain is the key word
Bought this multiple effects unit for grab and go situations. It is not very intuitive for quick changes of patches. That being said, there are plenty of user editable patches included that if you spend the time and effort to edit them, you can make them suitable for your specific needs. The sounds of the stock patches are just ok although it’s hard to complain about them considering the price point of this unit. It can be a handy unit for practice as it has a built in drum machine/metronome and a looper. It’s a bargain unit and if you know that going in, you shouldn’t be disappointed. I kept mine. ... show more

  • Has some good sounds
Pros:The sounds are good enough for rehearsals and recordings. The interface is easy to see, and the user patches are easy to program and save. It seems to be well built for the price. Cons: There is a noticeable lag between selecting patches, also the pedal switch is a bit to light for such a small pedal, and I tend to turn it on or off when not trying, especially using the wah. I do enjoy using it with my headphones not disturbing the family :) ... show more

  • Pre-Loaded with great sounds
I am a beginner and wanted something to emulate the songs I would like to practice, but buying pedals for each style was expensive, and this was the perfect compromise. Blues to heavy metal preloaded and ready to go, along with other features I am sure to use down the road without breaking the bank.
