Style but no substance. They used a soft wood, so I wouldn't trust it to hold much weight. It only came with 12 screws instead of 16. Definitely not getting much bang for the buck here.

Not bad in theory, but bad in practice. Wood is lightweight and I am sure the bottom will warp in no time. The design is fine and it looks good, but the wood reminds me of the balsa airplanes I flew as a kid. And the wood stain is hit or miss, with mostly misses around the metal grating. Better wood would make this a four or five star box if the price were less than $20. As is, it is barely a two-star item. ... show more

I bought this one for a record collection. I've built it, and it's made from very cheap materials that can't hold the amount of records as it review. It's feel very fragile. I hope It will last a little bit😟 The price is very high for what you are getting...

I bought this crate for my son's 19th birthday as he is begining to collecting LP's. He saw this crate here on Amazon and liked the aesthetic, so I ordered it for him. Sadly, this crate feels like it is made of balsa wood as it is very light and flimsy. The bottom board is especially thin and I imagine this will fail to support the weight of records when the crate is fully loaded and lifted. For the price, I was expecting a better wood material used in its construction. Priced at $27, this crate it is definitely not worth any consideration and should be avoided. Vinyl records do not fit in both orientations, only with the handles to the sides.
