This little cabinet/nightstand came well packed and in good condition. Comprehensive assembly instructions are included together with a small screwdriver. If you follow the instructions, it goes together easily, with holes and parts aligning and fitting together well. Assembly is mainly using pin nails and cams. It is IMPORTANT that the pin nails are inserted to exactly the right depth if you want a good fit. I would strongly advise AGAINST using an electric screwdriver as they are easy to over-tighten. Reading previous reviews, some buyers seem to have had problems but mine all fitted together perfectly; the drawer slides in easily and it is pretty sturdy for a small table. I like the ratan front to the drawer. I’ll likely end up staining the legs to match the rest of the unit but otherwise I am entirely satisfied.

This is a cute little table. It was a breeze to assemble. It comes with a screwdriver, which is all you need to put it together. The instructions are clear and easy to follow (my 7 year old did most of the assembly by himself). The table looks exactly like the item description. The pull-out drawer glides smoothly and closes as it should, though does not sit quite flush when all the way closed. The table I received had a dozen light scratches or marks on it. Most of them were on the back or underside, so they can't be seen once assembled, though there are a few on the top and front, as well. I believe this is an indication that one should be cautious with putting items on the table, as the quality of the finish is probably lacking. The biggest drawback, though, is that the screw anchors are not covered in the upper compartment, and no covers are provided. This small detail makes it look cheap, since the visible hardware is glaringly obvious. Including some plastic caps would have been easy. Otherwise, for less than $50, the quality is what I would expect.

This nightstand is a great buy. The contemporary look goes great in my son's bedroom. The color combination will go with anything. It wasn't too hard to put together with it having the alphabet's being on there. It feels sturdy like it will last for years too.

I was intimated at first by the total number of parts when you get this package. They are well packed however, and once you get the instructions going I was surprised how quickly I got this assembled and the gorgeous look when it was complete. Its definitely smaller and daintier than most night stands, but the drawer and book nook area is just so incredibly neat. Huge fane of this design, and may get another in the same style.

I’m a pro at assembling IKEA furniture. They don’t even give you real instructions, but THIS is awful. I bought two and nervous about trying to assemble the second one.

This is a nice stand, however, I found it to be incredibly difficult to put together. If you do not get the screws to the same depth, the drawer will not fit as well. I also was slightly disappointed that there was not any way to cover the open screws. Otherwise, this is very stable and nice looking!

I was looking for a small night stand and selected this because the mid-century aesthetic and the dark wood veneer matched other pieces in my bedroom. This nightstand is exactly as described by the manufacturer. The assembly instructions are easy to follow, and all the parts are labeled with little sticker to keep you from making big mistakes. The drawer slides are the cutest little slides I ever have seen. I don’t think it is mentioned in the description but the slides seem to have a soft close feature so you can’t slam it closed. It is possible that it could get a little tippy if you loaded it with something heavy. But the instruction do say to not exceed 20 kg on it.
