Ordered this to put up a small barrier in the yard for the dogs. (I have little dogs) Reminded me of when I was a kid and walked passed the 'little old lady's house" and her front yard. It was just what I needed. Something to section off a piece of the back yard with no animals allowed. They were easy to assemble and put into the ground. They have stayed up even with the dogs trying their best to push them over. I wanted them to blend into the surroundings and not stand out, otherwise I may have painted them to match. My puppy kept jumping up in my garden beds and I needed a solution. These work perfectly. They look nice, are fairly easy to put together, and can be shaped however you want for a versatile application. They only look a little crooked in the photos because the soil in my garden bed is not level. This is an affordable solution to my problem and it looks nice. My only complaint is having to screw all the stakes on to the bottom of each panel. I may have arthritis now. Lol the s clips are also a little difficult to put on and connect the panels to each other but at least I know they won't come apart. ... show more

I got this for my wife who wanted to keep some of the ducks and cats out of her flower garden. It isn't full- proof but it certainly acts as a deterrent. The black garden fence is easy to insert in the ground and the jury remains out on whether or not it is rust proof. She really hopes that it is because the ones she currently has used are rusting and fading. She plans to spray paint those later in the Spring so at least they are all black. You get ten feet of length for just under under $30. so I guess it is on par with other like fences. The design is unobtrusive and works well most anywhere. Very satisfied. ... show more

Got these for the small garden in my backyard in order to dress up what was originally decrepit chicken wire. This won't keep out large animals, but works well if you're only attempting to keep out the small critters. The fencing looks great and was very easy to install.

    • Lovely and Sturdy Decorative Garden Fence

In preparation for spring, I ordered this garden fence to replace an old chicken wire border I have around my flowerbed. While I still have some prep work in my garden before installing the fence, I got a head start on attaching the posts to the panels. For the most part, screwing the posts on was simple. However, three posts were troublesome and required a plier wrench, with one of them only screwing on halfway. I tried protecting the coated metal from being damaged by the teeth of the pliers, but so much force had to be applied that the paint scraped off and the metal was damaged. Fortunately, I have some black spray paint that I’ll use to cover the exposed metal before installing it outdoors to prevent rust from forming prematurely. The plastic connector pieces take a bit of force to snap on but, once on, the panels stay secured to one another making it easier to adjust them to the desired shape. The metal is sturdy and solid, especially the posts. When the time comes, I can’t imagine having a difficult time staking the fence into the ground. This decorative fence is lovely and such a nice upgrade for my garden. ... show more
