Last year I had outdoor carpet in the area and particles from that deal got into the pool and it really became a mess. HOWEVER, this little "rug" works very well and is so much better than a regular rug. No mess, no funky smells, no worries about it remaining wet for long period. If you have need of a similar application I think you will be pleased. The only reason I did not give a 5 is because I feel that this may be a "one-season" deal because the area of the rug at the folds seems a bit fragile. However, for the price, one year is plenty. We got this outdoor rug for our balcony and it’s great. The quality is amazing. It’s a thick plastic so it’s easy to clean and water proof. It was a very decent size and fit on our balcony pretty well. It’s very bright blue. It has lasted through winter and rain and still hasn’t faded. It’s pretty soft to walk on without shoes. Wanted an inexpensive rug option for my deck and this worked great. It is plastic so when it rains it doesn't get saturated and have to dry which I really like. I would recommend if you live in the north that you store it over the winter. My daughter had a similar one and she did not put it up for the winter and the snow really took a toll on it and it was trash year 2. Am hoping that by storing mine in the winter that this lasts me quite a few years. ... show more
