We love this! It’s NOT a child’s toy. It’s for learning and being hands on in the kitchen; that’s what we use it for. The quality is great, they cut nicely, they look cute. We learn safety and the size is a good size for my 6 year old to grow into and use for many years. (I love them too) They’re safe with instruction and supervision, as with all kitchen items. I think if these were a TOY, they would be plastic. Great way for my child to feel special and when he’s in the mood to participate, he has his special set. The joy that alone brings us worth having this set.

I purchased the 13-Piece Montessori Kitchen Toy Set because I wanted a safe way for my toddler to participate in cooking without using real kitchen knives. After hearing about kid-safe kitchen tools, I searched for a set that met my needs, and this one seemed like the best fit. It arrived within five days, and here’s my first impression: The packaging is simple but well-done—what’s shown on the box is exactly what you get, which is important to note. Upon opening and examining the items, everything looked easy to use and designed specifically for kids. Some tools are made of metal with sharp edges, but the design ensures they are much safer than regular kitchen utensils. I especially love the fun shape cutter, various knives, chopping tools, and the cutting board. Each piece was individually wrapped in plastic, allowing me to inspect everything without direct contact. After looking everything over, I was already convinced I’d keep the set—good thing, too, since it’s marked as non-returnable due to its nature. However, if anything is missing, the seller seems willing to replace parts. Fortunately, my set arrived complete. My toddler couldn’t wait to try it out, so we used the shape cutters to make little baby sandwiches—such a fun experience! At $14.24, the price is reasonable for what you get, though I would have preferred more natural materials like wood instead of plastic. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, and so I gave it 4 stars!

Great set that my 3 year old absolutely loved and still uses as a 5 year old. Good quality and safe w/ some supervision. The peeler is the only one I’d say needs some assistance with because it can slice the skin a bit.

This is perfect for my 2 yo! She loves getting to cut her own bananas and help me prep dinner by cutting softer vegetables and use the cookie cutters to make shapes with dough. What a great little purchase! I'm surprised by how well the plastic peeler, knives and the crinkle cutter work. I even use the crinkle cutter myself for squash!
