I’ve had my pens for decades now, over 30 years. I’ve used other refills when I couldn’t find the manufacturer’s products. None of those wrote as cleanly or smoothly. These refills are best and noticeably different from generics. You cannot go wrong sticking with these refills

I have a few Monblanc writing instruments and nothing really beats the quality. The writing might not feel as smooth with a new refill, but after a bit of use, the writing becomes smoother and smoother.

I am left-handed and my fellow left-handed can vouch for me when I say that wet ink is a struggle. It takes longer to dry and it gets messy. Well, this wet ink does the job!

This (Royal Blue Medium) is not at all like the Mont Blanc Black M Rollerball refills that I've been buying for decades. It is like writing with a cheap sloppy felt tip pen or something. I closely compared the refill with a (genuine) Mont Blanc black refill that I had, and it appears to be authentic Mont Blanc.
