I went to an art documentary film opening for a famous family author member who is now sadly deceased. Larry Brown is was recognized as one of the best Southern Noir Fiction Genre writers in Oxford, Mississippi in early August with the new release of a film dedicated to his work that will be located in the archives in the J.D.Williams Library on the Campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford. The film was introduced by its production team members and the family was in attendance with a full house of community members supporting the effort! The occasion was special and I was dressed for it with my pretty bag with a simple Linen dress in blue! Love this little purse! Montana West did not disappoint on the design or construction. It is real leather with quality stitching. It is small, but that's what I was looking for. It's just large enough to hold my chapstick, lip color, credit card holder w/change, mints and keys. I still have a little room if I need to add a small hand sanitizer or lotion. I will buy this again when I have completely shredded it. I am extremely rough with all of my items, everything is a tool and items are meant to be used. I take my purse with me everytime I go anywhere and for 2.5 years straight it has held up. The only downsides is occasionally little strings will fray from the strap, I quickly take a lighter and burn off the hair like strands every so often and it isn’t a big deal for me. Only just now has the magnetic clasp started to become slightly moved from its original place after a lot of rough use. Overall with a little bit of sewing or glue it is fixed right up, as long as something is easily fixable and sturdy in the long run it has my approval. We should absolutely be investing in things that last and for me leather is one of those things. I can’t imagine how many pleather purses I would have gone through by now lol ... show more
