  • Beautiful!
Style: MX1 Box Reticle
Needed something EXACTLY like this for a high powered airgun that I use for pest control, hence the MX1 reticle instead of the BDC one. As you can see, it's VERY clear glass, very sharp reticle illumination with no bloom. It's actually an improvement over the UTG Bugbuster scopes that most of us airgunners normally use, IMHO. And it's almost $80-$100 cheaper. ... show more

  • Wow!
Style: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
So, this is NOT a Nightforce or a Trijicon of course. But, it is every bit as clear and sturdy as a Primary Arms or even an Arken (if it dropped 12lbs in weight, that is). For a $100, you cannot beat the value in this little scope. Sincerely.

  • Quality piece.
Style: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
Very clear sight picture. Excellent illumination. Have'nt taken it to the range yet but sighted it in with a lazer bore sight. Mounted it on an SKS.

  • Eyebox small
Style: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
Very cool looking great features but at the range I was shooting 50yards and needed more than 6x to see bullet holes but not only that, but If u go past 4x good luck with that eye box it was so bad I thought I was putting my hand in front of the scope but it was really just that hard to get your head positioned right also the rear eye piece has a huge bezzle other than this I loved its form and controls but eye box just to small I had another monstrum scope out at the same time the g2 3x9x40 is way better ... show more

  • Great optics, perfect close-target quick acquisition reticle, smooth controls, illuminated!
Style: BDCB1 Drop Reticle
Monstrum is now my go-to optics brand! By now, I have extensive experience with this optics brand, so I did not hesitate while ordering this product, and I wasn't disappointed! I am super impressed with this scope. The reticle closely resembles Trijicon's BDC Segmented Circle reticle designed for use with 55gr .223 ammunition. This reticle is specifically designed for the quick target acquisition in short and medium ranges but completely useless for long range shooting IMHO. It's a high quality, very well purpose-built scope that will serve you well. Magnification can be easily adjusted between 2x and 10x by turning the ring located on the eyepiece side and it has a small lever for easier adjustments. Focus adjustment is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great, I hate it when the scope does not have it (like Russian POSPs). Eye relief and magnification rings move smoothly, which tells a lot about the build quality of the scope. Windage and elevation turrets are large, so you can do adjustments with your fingers. There is no zero stop feature on this scope, it would be nice to have it but at 100 bucks price point I surely am not complaining. Turrets are covered by screw caps for protection, which is nice, but caps do not have "leashes", so when they are removed for adjustment, it's very easy to drop or misplace these caps. Now about optics. Lens clarity is superb, very crisp and clear and I did not notice any distortions even at 10x magnification. I love the magnification range from 2 to 10, it allows me to use it for close targets and for mid- to long- range targets! For a compact scope like this it's awesome! The scope's reticle is illuminated, and you have a choice of red or green colors. I normally do not even consider a scope that does not have illumination because it greatly limits its usability, especially in dusk and nighttime. Red is great for night, green is great for day, dusk, or dawn. The reticle is etched on the glass and is very sharp. Note that illumination only lights up the central ring, not the whole reticle. On top of it, the scope is nitrogen purged and fog proof, but I did not expect otherwise. The scope comes with single-piece out-front rings, which are surprisingly good. I noticed that cheaper scopes usually of low quality include rings that I always throw away or give away and buy a new set of quality rings that might cost you as much as the scope itself. But this time I probably will keep the rings and actually use them. Monstrum makes great stuff! Pro-tip. Because the scope's reticle is fairly very simple and does not provide much elevation or windage adjustment guidance like Mil Dot, your best bet for zeroing it is to use a laser bore sighter. Just insert it into your barrel and zero your scope's crosshair on its dot. Then on a range you can finish fine-tuning your aim at 10x magnification according to the manufacturer's guidelines. This will save you tons of ammo. *** TL;DR *** Yes, I do recommend this scope to every gun enthusiast. It has ultimately crisp and clear optics, wide magnification ranges from 2x to 10x, which is perfect for close- and mid-range shooting. The reticle is a simple yet highly effective Trijicon style BDC Segmented Circle, which is perfect for quick target acquisition. All adjustments work smoothly, turrets are hidden under the cap, everything looks good. Plus, it has red and green illumination. What else do you need? For 100 bucks it is a deal you can't beat, and it even comes with a solid single-piece scope mount. Definitely a 5-star product! +++ Pros +++ 1) Very well built, rock-solid construction. 2) Wide magnification range: 2x to 10x. 3) Simple and highly effective BDC reticle. 4) Easy windage and elevation comps. 5) Fast target acquisition at 2x. 6) Long-range shooting capable at 10x. 7) Has focus adjustment. 8) Comes with lens caps. 9) Reticle is illuminated (red/green). 10) Comes with a solid single-piece mount. 11) Lifetime warranty!!! --- Cons --- 1) Turret caps have no “leashes”. 2) It's SFP, I prefer FFP. ... show more
