The first thing I noticed was the glass has excellent clarity. The scope is well made and the base that comes with it is good enough to cost more than the optic itself. I own a lpvo costing many times more than this and its included base isn’t really any better than this one. Like I said the glass is clear the optic itself seems well made and has a premium look to it that is shocking at this price point. The scope remains clear at higher magnifications and the dials move with ease and have the perfect amount of resistance. The ridicule has several different brightness settings but you will probably need to use it on the higher settings because the lower options aren’t very bright. That is a minor complaint though compared to my only big concern about this scope. The eye relief is good on the lower magnifications but it gets worse with each increase. At 1x it’s good 2x the same but by 3x it’s starting to get bad but by the last setting 4x it’s very finicky and takes some getting used to. For the price though it’s fine something had to give the other positives greatly outweigh the one major negative and with some practice it remains usable. The good thing is once you find that sweet spot the clarity is still better than expected. I put this on a new rifle and sighting it in was pretty easy and the scope held zero well over the course of 200rds or so. For a scope costing less than $70! I’m sure if you need it to this optic would perform well enough to help put meat on the table but it’s best suited for fun range sessions. I’m honestly impressed by. Monstrum and am very interested in their higher end lpvo offerings. I’d recommend it to anyone that can live with the finicky eye relief at higher magnifications and looking for a budget scope for range use! ... show more

Several hundred rounds through this LPVO shooting 5.56 This scope is great value. Connecting to steel at 300yds is simple once zeroed at 100 and I'm sure I can go back further and still make solid hits. The glass and the reticule are perfect for me. It's held zero and works as it should, the illuminated reticle is a nice feature depending on what's seen best by you. I'd stock up on these monstrum products before they become unobtainable by the poor man looking for solid glass. I have more monstrum scopes to review on some of my rifles and all of them have performed great. Monstrum will always be my choice for quality optics at great prices. ... show more

Put this on a 10/22 and has held its zero so far. Great eye relief for me and seems pretty durable. I like the brightness settings on the reticle too. The mount seems to be stable and solid and it should retain zero well.

Was looking for a short magnification scope that could handle the recoil of a 12-gauge pump. This works well. Very sturdy with a solid cantilever mount, held zero at 30 yds with slugs. Nice price & fast delivery. I would recommend this item & seller to anyone with a similar need!

Probably wouldn't mount on anything more than an airsoft/22 rifle. Seems really well made, kept zero so far. But after about 300 rounds of 223 the illumination nob started to gain a lot of slop radially. Chances are within the next couple 100 rounds it's going to fail completely. Very nice for the price, obviously not a 500$ sight but very solid quality compared to others in the price range. Great for short distances, very nice image. Seems to be pretty durable, not too heavy. Very easy to mount. Had perfect accuracy at 50 yards without needing to adjust anything. I have always chose Monstrum, and will continue to do so! Haven’t been disappointed yet! (These aren’t the rings it came with I bought separate) ... show more
