I used on a 2006 gmc 3500 dually lowered 8 inches. Had to trim down the sides of the bushings. It worked great and keeps me from sitting on the bumpstops. Oreillys carries replacement fitting and air line as well

These are a good quality shock. Ride good and give suspension a real boost when loaded down. Just add air and levels out the ride. My one gripe with this and I'm sure others are they didn't give enough airline for what I think is the typical install of putting the schrader valve at the rear bumper area. I did install on a suburban and had to get additional line from parts store to complete the install. I could have put the valve near the rear axle area but there is no easy place to mount and access it. So if you plan to place fill valve at rear plan on needing more line. Other than not enough line I do appreciate the direct replacement ease with same size bushings and hardware as factory. Instructions are space but it's a shock so if you get stuck on taking 2 nuts off then search you tube there are plenty of videos of this job out there ... show more

O installed these on my 1986 c10. These were easy to install. Might seem like not enough tube from place of mount to bumper for the placement of air valve, but turned out to be enough. They came in black so if you're looking for white shocks like the picture, these are black. I love then. Gotten several compliments within the last 2 weeks of installing them. They give my truck a nice jacked look. Adding some on the front soon. ... show more

these air shocks work great. installed in no time, I use a single shrader valve to fill both at the same time, keep them at 40 psi which is a great ride in my old 1990 suburban. I needed then as I tow a 20 Bay boat makes it stable at highway speeds

I installed these on a 79 C10 and they work very well. The downside is one of them was defective and leaked from a factory weld on the top of the shock where it mounts to the frame. They refuse to do returns if they have already been installed on the vehicle so be sure to air them up and test for leaks before hand. The 2nd set worked properly. ... show more

    • missing parts and neither amazon nor monroe will help
new & unopened package -- the shocks were ok, and easy to install, but the installation hardware kit was missing the O-Ring seals {4 of of them}. . Kit p/n# AK18 -- all the other installation parts were in the sealed bag {air hose and T fitting, and inflation valve, etc}. So, definitely a quality control problem with monroe / and their QC inspectors missed that one. Amazon will not send another kit for free / they sell them for $11. . Monroe support was lousy, and they will not send me a kit -- i sent them an email through their own web site a week ago and they never answered it, so i finally called them, waited an hour, and was told by their cust service rep that it was an amazon fulfillment issue and i should contact amazon support. . . obviously the installation kit bags (#AK18) are sealed at monroe, and the bag says "made in the usa" -- so, i have had the air shocks on my truck for over a week, and i cannot put air in them. ... show more
