Features

  • COMPATIBILITY Fits 2009-2014 Ford F-150; 2010-2012 Ford F-150; 2011-2011 Ford F-150; 2013-2014 Ford F-150
  • REDUCES SAG UNDER LOAD -- Ideal for occasionally hauling or towing varying loads; heavy gauge, calibrated coil spring reduces sag when loaded up to 1,200 lbs. (capacity limited by suspension, tires and transmission; see owner's manual)
  • EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING -- Tuned specifically for each application, full-displaced valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide ride consistency
  • CONSISTENT RIDE -- OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and PTFE-banded piston helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces
  • LONGER SERVICE LIFE -- Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear while heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod delivers long life
  • IMPROVES PERFORMANCE -- Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade

Description

Ideal for light trucks that that tow or carry varying loads, Monroe load adjusting shocks include a heavy gauge calibrated spring that adjusts to road and weight conditions to provide extra control when operating conditions get more demanding.

  • Works great on my 2018 f150 fx4 5.0
This helped my truck stay more stable when pulling my 30 foot rv. Great buy highly recommend. They do fit on a 2018 f150. Only problem I had with installing them was trying to compress them while putting them in the slots they bolt to. But other than that pretty easy. Rides just like it did stock

  • Work better than expected
I put these on my 2011 F-150 SCrew 4x4. The install was very simple and straightforward. They only took me 10 minutes to install but my truck was on a 2 post lift. I've only had them on for a few weeks so I can't comment on how they hold up, but I'm impressed with how they perform. Unloaded the ride quality was very similar to stock, but loaded it feels way more controlled. It rides more firm when loaded but not harsh, however it doesn't float like it used to with 800lbs in the bed. The biggest difference was towing my 7000lb 30ft camper, it didn't squat nearly as much even when I loosened the WD hitch a little (I'll have to adjust the hitch to re-level the camper). Before these the truck towed fine, but it was kind of floaty and got pushed around a little by the camper, especially over bumps. But with the Monroe Load Adjust shocks on it felt way more controlled, like it wasn't floaty or being pushed around by the camper anymore, even over big bumps. I wish I had installed these years ago when I bought the camper, but I'm glad I have them now. Hopefully they hold up. ... show more

  • Worked great, but failed after only 2 years.
I loved the ride and feel. They worked great for towing and off reading. When they decided to go they are embarrassingly loud. The feel changed drastically also and when towing almost lost total control.

  • We shall see!
These arrived today and I wasted no time in installing them . I have a 2014 ford 150 4x4. I jacked up the rear end almost to where the rear tires were off the floor. This allowed the suspension to open up enough so I did not have try to compress the spring on the shock. They went in easy. I lowered the truck and immediately notices an increase in lift between 2-3”. I will be loading my rzr800 side by side in the bed tomorrow and will see if they helped with sag. Update… 3 weeks in, I’m returning them. The rubber spring protector slid up on one, and down the shaft on the other. Now the spring hits the shock and is starting to damage the shock body. This is my second pair. The first did the same thing. Also.. whoever said this product doesn’t raise the rear end of your truck is lying. It raises it dramatically. The springs almost entirely lift the truck, body off the stock suspension until you load the truck. ... show more

  • Excellent shocks
Stiffened my F150 up a bit(which it needed) The ride is still excellent and the added load carrying capacity is a bonus. Highly recommend.
