Features

  • Play In Under One Hour!
  • Score Your Scrabble Word -- Move Your Token!
  • BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: This innovative game combines the best elements of Monopoly with the crossword-building play of Scrabble.
  • HOW TO PLAY: Just like standard Scrabble, players start with 7 letters on their rack and build words in the center of the board. Play a letter that covers up a Premium square and you get the Color Group shown. Clever gameplay twists keep things moving. The winner is the player with the highest total of cash and property value when the last letter tile is played.
  • NO DICE!: Instead of rolling dice to move around the outside of the gameboard, players build words and move ahead by their Scrabble word score. Read that twice - and let it sink in. Pretty cool!
  • STRATEGY: Since players do not buy Properties when they land on them, it takes careful strategy of how to build a word on the Scrabble portion of the gameboard. Build the right word, cover up a Premium square, and steal a Property from an opponent!
  • HOW LONG IS THE GAME?: A full game of Monopoly Scrabble can be played in under 1 hour. Yes, you heard that right: plays in under 1 hour!

  • So Fun & Clever — A Must-Have for Game Night!
This Monopoly Scrabble mash-up board game is such a great twist on two classics — it keeps the strategic wordplay of Scrabble and the property-buying fun of Monopoly, but mixes them in a way that feels fresh and exciting. Instead of rolling dice, you move your token based on the points you score from your words, so every turn feels meaningful and competitive in a fun way. We played it with friends and family, and everyone picked it up quickly — the rules are easy to understand, but the gameplay still keeps you thinking and planning ahead. It’s also fantastic that a full game really does play in under an hour, which makes it perfect for casual nights or gatherings where you want something satisfying but not too long. The components are solid, the mix of Monopoly and Scrabble elements feels balanced, and it brings laughs and challenges in equal measure. If you love board games that bring people together and create memorable moments, this one’s definitely worth adding to your collection! ... show more

  • FAV
Love this game! It is our go to game on family game night. There isn't much Monopoly strategy. The scrabble board is inside the Monopoly board. You move around the Monopoly board by your Scrabble score. Good game for kids because you can make small words and if land on the right spots, still win. The tile bag is poorly made. We use my Scrabble Deluxe blue pouch. We had a soda mishap and after buying a new game, I added the Chance and Community Chest cards from the old game for "Go to Go" and "Go to Free Parking". I also added an extra Z, Q, J, X, K, W tile, 2 S, D and G tiles, and two extra blanks. I also took the money from the old game. Because there is a community tray, giving each player 14 letters to work with, each turn, it's like three-dimensional Scrabble. ... show more

  • Fun & Unique! Highly recommend!
Def a 5 star game! We have been having fun with this one and playing it a lot. Each game takes us around an hour. Doesn’t take forever to play like traditional Monopoly. This is more like Scrabble with a twist, so Scrabble fans should enjoy it especially. I love the different game play of this. There is some strategy to it. The longest or highest scoring word possible isn’t necessarily the best play. You might prefer to play what would traditionally be a lower scoring word to strategically land on free parking, chance, avoid paying rent, etc. Also, it’s fun the bank has letters anyone can buy. It gives you more options for what kind of words you can make and gives more opportunities for longer words (if playing longer words is in your best interest and doesn’t put your most coveted properties at risk. This is def a good one & a new fav addition to our game collection. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Fun, Fast, Enjoyable
I’m an avid Scrabble player, or rather I became one in the last couple of years playing with my parents weekly. My mother had purchased a travel Scrabble first, but as my father’s ability to place small tiles on the small board, she determined we needed a full size board and replaced it with one. My nephew came over one time to play with us and brought his Deluxe carry version. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one of those. We played on that until my father passed away. After that I continued to go to my mother’s place and we would occasionally play with the Deluxe Scrabble but the fun was gone, and we would play Sequence. Then my brother started joining us and Scrabble became the fun one to play. I saw a commercial online for this game and thought it might be fun, so I purchased it from Amazon. Soon the fun returned with a vengeance. My mother enjoyed playing this because keeping track of points went out the window. This game is based on who has the most money instead of points. The points from words played counted towards moving your Monopoly pieces around the board. The only ways to get property were either from Community Chest and Chance cards plus most of the double letter score spots on the Scrabble portion are now property, laying a word over these spaces gives you the property.. no more buying property, no dice, really lends speed to the game. The only problem I’ve experienced is the tile spaces are larger than the letter tiles, meaning that you need to space out the words, which reduces the stability of the game and the quality isn’t that great either. The Scrabble portion areas aren’t all that readable for the elderly, but the property colors make up for it. There are only 10 property cards, one railroad, one utilities, etc. each card lists all the properties that used to be on the outside Monopoly board, these have been replaced by more Community Chest, Chance, and “Go directly to Free Parking” spaces. It may not sound as much fun as the games are separately, but the speed and combination really makes for a fun hour or two. ... show more

  • Fantastic play. But cheapily built.
Game play and creativity of the two games combined is 5 star worthy fun. But the cheapness of the board, flimsy cardboard property pieces makes it like a 3 star quality build. So overall i give it 4 stars. Personally i would spend a few bucks more in build quality and have a 5 star game that lasts.
