Description

It's 1986 and a dark force known as Vecna is opening Gates to the Upside Down in Hawkins and beyond! Inspired by Season 4 of the Netflix series Stranger Things, the Monopoly: Stranger Things Edition board game is a must for fans. Spin the hand on Vecna’s ominous grandfather clock to find out where the Gates are, then race to close them. Players earn money along the way by charging other players rent, and the last player with money when all other players have gone bankrupt wins. But watch out! The game also ends if Vecna opens enough Gates so that every location is in the Upside Down. Then all players lose! The game is for 2-6 players and it's a great board game for adults and teens ages 14+.

  • Fun new version
It’s worth getting the new version if you have a Stranger Things fan. We had the first ST version. This one has an interesting twist that your property can become a gate to the upside down and you can’t collect rent until you pay to close the gate. It happens a lot. It fun to have references to all of the seasons. ... show more

  • Arrived in great condition!
I haven't tried it yet, but in putting it together I had the same issue someone else mentioned about the clock dial not working well. Then I noticed little pieces of plastic were keeping the clock face too close to the dial. Then I realized they were like clips in a picture frame, and when I pushed the clock face behind them, the dial works perfectly. Love the set! ... show more

  • This Game is Just Like Monopoly
This game is just like Monopoly but instead of the Monopoly guy ruining humanity, it’s Stranger Things themed. How fun! I bought it for the nieces and nephew and they said it was awesome, except the teenager. She said it was “Fine, God, are you done fishing for compliments?”

I didn’t see the age on this. A little too hard for her to play. But that was my fault. We’ll play at a later date
