  • Totally awesome desk!!
Color: Natural Size: 55x28
I bought the desk for my adult son as an early Christmas gift. He is VERY particular about his work space and electronics. He does a lot of work from home so a new desk was on the top of his list. He picked this particular desk out after much consideration and forwarded it to me. When I looked it happened to be offered at a very special price - so I nabbed it well before Christmas. . He got it delivered real quick and was well packed. He had no trouble with assembly. He loves the raising and lowering feature. The motor mechanism is super quiet. It has lots of useful features. He also bought a few extra attachments for it; one was a little drawer to put underneath. He's very organized now. I saw the desk in action in his home. I was honestly quite impressed with the weight and quality of the product. It seems very well made and pleasing to the eye. Thus was a good purchase!! Money well spent. He won't take the time to write a review...so I decided to. ... show more

  • The best rolling, adjustable-height desk I've found - I bought two
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 55x28
This is a high-quality, whisper-quiet desk that has sturdy castor wheels and a beautiful surface. I purchased a second one a month after the first. Monomi's customer support is as excellent as the product. One desk had local shipping damage, and they replaced the part very quickly, responding to the included email address immediately. The assembly is easy for such a functional product. They include the assembly tools, spare parts just in case, and additional photo notes to make sure everything is clear. Top-notch product. ... show more

  • Great value for the money
Being new to standing desks, I didn't want to sink a lot of money into this. Amazon seemed to have the best prices overall, so after my initial research, I narrowed down my choices to what they offered. It was easy to narrow down the choices there because I wanted a keyboard tray and didn't want the bother of finding one that would work with the desk. That narrowed it down to Fezibo and Monomi. Price and reviews were pretti similar. I made my choice based on having a single versus a dual motor. My reasoning was that at this low price point, having two motors sync with each other over a long time seemed unlikely. Maybe that was faulty reasoning, but it's what I used. When the package arrived, it was seriously heavy. I never lifted it. I just tipped it into the house and pushed it across the floor. Assembly was easy, though better labeling would have helped. Having to examine the diagram to examine small details to make sure that I had the correct part in the correct direction was annoying. Directions for the keyboard tray seemed to be an afterthought and were poor. Especially regarding which screws were to be used where. Still assembly only took around an hour, by myself. I did have help setting it upright when I finished. For me the desk is very sturdy. However, I don't use it at its full height. I'm wet at 40 inches. It easily accommodates my 34 inch monitor, desk phone, 1st gen echo, portable scanner and all the papers that I'm working on. I noticed some reviews that complained about the seam in the middle of the two boards. This isn't an issue for me, but if you do drawing or something that requires a full smooth desktop, you should probably look at single piece desktops. You won't be happy with this one. Movement is smooth. the emergency stop, or whatever they call it when it hits an object and stops, works. I've hit things in both directions. It was very easy to program my presets and the system has not dumped them. The biggest weakness is the keyboard tray. It is small and not as sturdy as I would like. I use a small keyboard and it does fit with my mouse. The problem is that the mouse has very little room to move. I do keep it on my desktop. The plastic that it is made out of just feels cheap because it has more give than I am used to. So far it works fine, I'm just not thrilled with it. I think that covers it all. I'm happy with this desk at the price I paid. If I paid $600, I'd expect more. But for the price, I'm very happy with it ... show more

  • Decent table
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 55x28
I got this model in part because it came with wheels. While the wheels are optionals, be advised that at the lowest setting, with the wheels on, the table is 1-2 inches too tall for me (I am 6 feet tall). I wish the top was a single piece instead of 3 pieces (for the 55x28). Once assembled, the boards don't align perfectly (there's at least 1 mm difference at the edge of the table). Assembly is generally easy, with the following caveats: - The pins that connect the various boards can easily be inserted too deep on one side which means the other side won't be able to get secured. While it can be fixed, it makes assembly more stressful and longer. They seem to be aware of the problem, as they included a little note that they stick on top of something, however I did not understand what the note was meant to explain after I realized the problem I had ran into. - Connecting the bars (axel) that transfer the motor power to the 2 legs was slightly harder than it should have been due to the 2 side not being perfectly aligned. I had to plug the power in and move the table up and down to get the 2 sides to align. Even with the wheels, the table feel pretty stable. However, if I put some pressure on the top with my arms it flex more than I would like. There's a few small speckles of where the color is much lighter, they look like scratch however passing my finger on it, I can't feel them. While not a big deal, some people might find that annoying. There should be more "cable management" items under the table. Otherwise I am happy with the table: - The size is good. - The wheel works well and can be locked in place. - Motor is pretty quiet (needs to press the button twice tho, once to wake up the control and once to start moving) - Table is stable - Solid enough for my needs - Price was reasonable In short, if you want a decent table at a good price, this a good value. If you have plenty of budget and care about the little details, you may want to consider some additional options. ... show more
