Bumped the desk light, hit the AirPod Maxes, they dropped from 12 inches high onto a two-tiered wood desk, bam, bam . . . both ear cups blew off, then my spanking new, precious Maxes hit the floor 32 inches below. Took a deep breath.These tough little carbon fiber, matte black just paid for themselves. Yeah, they may be another 10% premium over the cost of the AirPod Max for luxury headphone protection. I was most definitely indecisive about spending $60.00 plus tax for some headphone covers when the vast majority of covers on amazon and other retailers range from $10 to $20. Although, I will say that these covers are truly exceptional and will make your AirPods Max stand out from the crowd flawlessly. I purchased the Matte Black version and I have found that these make my Maxes look very sleek, modern, and stylish all at once. I have had them for about three months now and can say that so far they have held up very well although I must note that these are used very lightly. My only grumble would be that they do get fingerprints on them very easily but it is also easy to clean them off. I highly recommend these if you are not worried about the price. ... show more

I like tht they snap on. Both sides are clearly identified (left) right. They have a natural look, I purchased the glossy and they look great. Ive had em about a month now an so far so good. They slip in and out of both carring cases. One, tht came with the ear phones. And a after market one, no issues. And covers dont interfere with the sleep mode or charging. The crown and action buttons and charging port have perfect cut outs and you should not have to make fit or do anything, other than snap em on. The fit for these covers is tight and have not popped off or fell off. A little high on price. But worth the look and protection. Without the covers? They tend to bang together, and could dent, scratch etc. ... show more

It’s expensive but if you can shell out the money for the AirPods Max then you can afford this. I got the gloss because matte will scratch easily. It also doesn’t block the Bluetooth antenna.
