I recently purchased this for my toddler, and it has quickly become one of his favorite toys! The blue color and fish shape are very appealing to him, and the five different sections provide a variety of activities to keep him engaged. The head: The shard shape head with movable wooden teeth is a fun and unique feature that my boy loves to play with. It's also a great way to develop his fine motor skills. The music instruments especially the fish guiro (probably called that) is a great way to introduce him to different sounds and textures. The mini maze is a great challenge for my toddler and helps develops his problem-solving skills. It's also a fun way to practice hand-eye coordination. He spends a lot of time scratching the sensory fabric as well. It is a great sensory experience. He loves to touch and explore the different textures. The last part: The fish tail is cultivated with a curve so the wooden bead can move smoothly in that curve. It's a great way to develop his hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Overall, I highly recommend this Montessori wooden fish-shaped busy board to parents looking for a fun and educational toy for toddlers. It's durable, well-made, non-toxic, and provides a variety of activities to keep little ones engaged and learning.

I love this product for my 12-year-old daughter with autism and developmental disabilities! One of the first things she did was chew on the xylophone hammer and the little wooden tool that you rub across the wood but as hard as she tried, all she did was make dents in the wood. A couple of weeks after we mounted it, though, she did pull one of those tools completely out and there’s no way to get it back in, but she’s just going to chew it up anyway. Other than that issue, this is well-made and brilliant! I would definitely recommend this, especially to people who have children who are not as big as mine with as strong of teeth! It’s cute and it mounted without any problems.

Purchased this Montessori Busy Board for toddlers (1-3 years old) classroom. Pros: Toddlers love this Caterpillar Busy Board. The item is colorful, has multiple sensory activities which prompt the use of fine motor skills. The item was easy to assemble but does require two people one to hold the pieces in place and the second for drilling screws into the wall. As of now item has been safe for toddlers use. Cons: The only con for this item (and this is a personal opinion) are the eyes of the caterpillar which are somewhat creepy looking. I would have preferred a happy looking eye since the busy board is designed for younger children.

The busy board is great. We did unfortunately have an issue with the Hourglass spilling sand out of one side. Thankfully we caught it and I was able to super glue the side it was spilling out of. Other than that, it’s pretty great. My kids love it.

I saw this in my chiropractors office and I would almost be willing to be a child again if I could have it on my wall. My granddaughter has 3 very active little boys. I got it for her to keep them busy and learning motor skills. She said it was a little difficult to mount on the wall but worth it. The boys love it. Great quality.

The quality looks very well built. The kids absolutely love it and will fight over it. My wife runs a in home daycare it's perfect. One thing I will say, they should of built this into 4 - 16 inch peices, instead of 5 - 12 inch. This way you could mount each of the 4 boards into a stud! It does come with your typical plastic anchors to drive screws into the dry wall & the thin low profile design will help it hold to the wall better. However it is a thin heavier wood, with that said if it were to fall on a little ones toes it wouldn't feel to good. So what I did was mounted a 1 x 6 x 4.5 peice of wood first, spaced my pre-drills 16 inches apart to line up studs. Then I mounted the board to it with the included screws. Maybe not all kids... But I knew mine would somehow rip it out of the wall just using the anchors.

I returned the first one and even the second 1 still continues. To drip sand from the hourglass everywhere where. it's practically empty at this point and it's only been a week. Also, the handles for the instruments come unraveled so easy and fall off. That is no longer attached to the item or toy as you would want it to be. I bought this from my indoor playground. for an expensive price I think it's a piece of junk and expected better
