I bought this for my 14 year old son because he has a lot of trophies, Pop figures, Lego pieces, and knick knacks. The pictures don't do it justice, I at the time of purchase I honestly didn't expect it to look so good but when it arrived and my husband took it out of the package the wood coloring on this shelf is really nice. Ours came with no scratches or scuffs, it was nicely packaged and it took my husband about an hour and a half to build. My husband is really good at building things and he even had a little bit of trouble on this one because nothing but the hardware is labeled. None of the framework is labeled and that's really where he had a little bit of trouble at the very end he had to take it apart because he didn't look at the holes to realize that he had to have four holes in a certain position once everything's put together to put the last piece on and he didn't do that. Attention to detail definitely matters when you're putting this together I gave this a four star because of the fact that the manufacturers didn't put labels on everything as they should I feel like our directions are lazy directions these days because nothing's written out it's just pictures and if it wasn't for my husband this would have sat in a box until I could hire someone to put it together because I don't understand the picture direction method, I need words to go along with them pictures! Overall it is very nice and I would have given it a five-star based on the look of it once it's put together, the price, and the sturdiness but I had to minus one star for the fact that they put no labeling on any of the frame. If put together right it's a pretty solid piece, I bought the black one and I do plan on purchasing another.

It looks fantastic set up. However, my complaint is NONE of the pieces were labeled, so it was a good bit of trial and error, but the pamphlet it comes with does an alright job of showing what pieces are what. Comes with the tools you need. Took me about 2 hours, and a bit of frustration. But I did it. And honestly, the money I spent on it was still worth it. I just wish the had labeled it, as the pamphlet shows all the pieces were SUPPOSED to be labeled, but I guess it saves me the time of having to peel off all those tiny circle stickers.

The metal parts on the shelf scratch very easily and take off the black finish leaving the silver underneath and the x placed for support on the back of the shelving unit is oddly placed. Love the actual shelves though. The frame could use some work. Over all pleased.

This shelf unit is very pleasing. I love the open look where the wall behind shows through instead of a solid back that blocks everything. All my visitors comment how nice it looks. And the color matched perfectly with my nook table and bar, so ... win win. Pretty much ate up an afternoon to assemble, a lot of parts, but it's not difficult .. just pour yourself a drink and get to it.

Very very vague directions to assemble. Took my husband over 1.5 hours to set up and he's an IKEA pro. He was swearing at it the whole time, lol! Relatively sturdy for the price. Looks nice.

The only problem that I had was the smaller screwdrivers it came with wore down and no longer worked while putting it together. I eventually found a screwdriver that I already owned that worked out though.

Great product for the money. When I first received it it was missing 2 pieces notified the company and sent a new one within 3 days from message. Product is easy to put together and sturdy also come with wall fasteners to prevent it from tipping over.
