However, I took a chance on the dress because I couldn't find anywhere in the description or reviews if the dress had functional buttons - it does not. For my purposes, I was buying it for post-surgery and hope it would have functional buttons to make the dress more accessible, but they are just sewn on top as a decoration. I am a solid ladies US L or XL on top (38B) and a 14/16 on bottom, standing 5’9”. When I order dresses from Amazon, depending on the cut, I usually get XL or XXL. For this, I got the XL and it fits very nicely, just to my knees! The material is smooth and soft, with the perfect amount of flare and swing. It is lightweight so I need to wear a back fat-smoothing bra! The neckline is a cute V neck with tan “lace” highlights. (I was worried that you could see cleavage through it, but you really can’t, so it is definitely work appropriate!) Armpit holes!!! Often with tank dresses, there is a concern about deep, gaping armpit holes when you get into larger sizes. Pleased to report that these armpit holes are a perfect size and they don’t expose your bra! The buttons down the front are a brown contrast against the black dress and are purely decorative. You can’t unbutton them. And attached to the label they even give you a spare button! I have black wedge sandals with a brown bottom, which will be perfect for this! The pockets on the front are deep and definitely hold a phone. But if you put your phone in it, it will make the dress stretch funny given the light weight fabric versus your heavy phone. They may be best suited for lip balm or your work ID. :) ... show more

These dresses are so weird! I first bought a medium sized wine, red one and I loved it. It was soft. It was comfortable. Great to wear in hot weather. There is a difference between the solid colored dresses and the patterns. After the wine red dress. I bought the Greene and White pattern dress and it was so soft! I love it. But then I bought a purple and black one, cause I was really liking these dresses. But those two are very scratchy, so clearly different material from the wine red and the green and white one. This dress was exactly as pictured and described! The fabric is soft and so bright and colorful. I'm 5 foot 4 and got a large because I'm early pregnant and it fits perfectly, it hits just below my knee. Super happy with it, probably going to order more!

I bought the black one with metallic macrame trim along the neckline, and I was so amazed by how good it looks! I bought it in size small (I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs) and it fits perfectly! Length is great; it hits just at the bottom of my knee. I really like that the button placket is just for looks, because so often, they gap, especially at the chest, and I don't have to be concerned about that with this dress. The pockets are a nice size, and they're placed well. I just ran it through the wash on cool water setting; it doesn't appear to have shrunk anywhere.
