In the past, I have used a power washer to remove the mold on my vinyl siding, but I feel it beats up the siding too much. In the past five years, I have used a brush attached to one of my painter poles to rub the mold off the siding. As I get older, I thought there has to be a better way, something less physical. So I gave the product a try on the north side of my house, it worked amazing, from the end of a garden hose. Did it get my siding 100% clean, like a brush or a powere washer: no. Did it remove 95% of the dirt and green mold: yes it did. So in a matter of 20 minutes, I removed the vast majority of the filth on my siding. The cleaner took dark baked on mold off the vinyl siding with NO scrubbing. I sprayed it on , waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Be aware it did take 3 times to do this, but again I didn’t touch it with a brush. The mold was prettier heavy sun baked on. The 2 quart container I used was able to cover and clean the whole side of a 1 story ranch with 3 applications as stated above. For the money it’s well worth it. I would give this cleaner 41/2 stars. Is does ok on a 1 story house but can not reach the top of a 2 story like picture and do it’s job. I had to use a ladder to spray higher at a different angle which does not give the product enough spray power to do what it is suppose to do. The product smells like chlorine, probably with some detergent in it to help. This product does ok but depending on spots you may need to scrub it in. I would buy again keeping in mind the little extra I have to do to get the siding completely clean. Looking at it the day after when full dried it came out great. Will now give it 4 1/2 stars only because I had to take out the ladder to spray higher. ... show more

This product works like a charm! Just as the label says! You must actually read the directions, let it sit for 10 mins then rinse! I did it on my fencing that hasn’t been power washed in over 3 years! East to apply easy to take off!!! Will definitely order more and tell others about this!

This product worked very well on my 2 story house with vinyl siding. It gets very moldy and mildewy on two parts of my house. I always thought the solution was pulling out my electric power washer and slowly cutting through the crud by working the washer wand about an inch away from the surface. Yeah, that worked well but you can only go so high on the wall even if using a ladder (which is NOT a wise thing to do). What's great about this product is that you can use your normal garden hose and even with my somewhat weak water pressure the product does pretty much shoot up to the 2nd floor. I did end up disconnecting the bottle and attaching my standard hose handle when rinsing the soap off the siding after waiting the required 10 minutes. I thought my hose gun provided a little more strength for the rinsing. Stubborn spots will require at least 2 washings but be patient, the gunk does come off. My garage was especially stubborn and it was still very streaky with the mold and mildew after the 1st wash and I thought I was finally stumped while using this soap. Even after the 2nd wash there were stubborn spots and I was sure I was finally defeated. I sprayed it for a 3rd time, waited inside for the 10 minutes, came out and it was all finally gone. It dripped away before I even rinsed it. My house has never been this clean in the 17 years I've lived here. Honestly the siding looks brand new. I remember 2 years ago a power washing guy was going to charge us $400 to do two sides of my house. I did the job yesterday for the $30 or whatever for the 2 bottles needed. There's no way he would have gotten the house any cleaner. I'm really so thrilled with this stuff. Just knowing I won't have to go through all the hassle with my power washer anymore is a great relief. Again, standard garden hose with not so great water pressure and I was still able to get the job done. My gutters look almost new as well. I wasn't even focusing on them. Try this product. I had first tried my power wash with a bleach solution to get the green mildew off my siding. Some came off at the lower level, but I needed to reach the highest points And the pressure washer did not do the job. I bought the solution, and without even using a pressure washer, just my hose, I was able to reach the highest points. It worked perfectly! Just a note, that on the nozzle, where the water comes out, there are different adjustments for the pressure of the water. I had to go through each of them to find the one that reached the highest when it was engaged In the cleaning mode.
