  • Kept it for myself
Size: Full Style: 12 Inch
I ordered this as a mattress for my spare bedroom to be used very rarely if at all. Didn't want to spend a lot as it would be rarely used. This fit my budget nicely. I've never slept on a memory foam mattress so I thought I would try it when I got it. OMG. Loved it. I have arthritis in my hips that wakes me up at night. I am a side sleeper and would put a pillow between my legs to ease the pain. I have had this mattress about 5 weeks and have not used a pillow between my legs once. Pain not entirely gone but doesn't wake me up now. Decided to keep this for myself and put my boxspring and mattress bed in the spare bedroom. Have only had this mattress about 5 weeks so can't speak to the longevity but it seems very well constructed so I believe it will last quite a while. Totally recommend. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good product!
Size: Twin Style: 8 Inch
I purchased the twin mattress to go on a metal bed I also purchased from Amazon. No box spring required on the bed; the mattress just sits on top of metal bars. I must say I had my doubts given the price and the fact that it came rolled up in a box....but to my surprise it expanded beautifully and this weekend my 16 year old granddaughter slept on it and said it was the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on. Time will tell if it holds up, but thus far I am extremely happy. After a bit more use, if the feedback is still this positive, I will buy another one for my king size bed. ... show more

  • WHY SPEND 1 OR 2 THOUSAND??
Size: King Style: 12 Inch
My wife may have been the original Princess and the Pea. We had a very old mattress, and the legume population in the bed had become much to much for her. I was very skeptical of locally bought high dollar mattresses, but equally leery of a king size that would arrive rolled up in a box. I asked her to pick one out on Amazon, and this is what she came up with. The box was heavy, i had a hand truck that handled it with ease, but two people should carry it with no problem. The nice nice thing about a box, is that you are not trying to squeeze a king size mattress through tight spaces ad doors. Getting it out of the box was no problem for two people who could then lift it onto the bed before unrolling it. After about 18 hours, the mattress was fully expanded which we could tell because all of the covering material was stretched tight. Then the testing began. The immediate sensation was AAAHH. The mattress is firm but giving in all of the right places. after the first night the Princess woke up with a smile on her face. and I was equally pleased Many of the bony pressure points on our geriatric bodies no longer scream as loudly in the morning. After a couple of weeks the pleasure continues. Its still early days, but if the trend continues , we'll call it $400 well spent. My only caveat, is that we have both woken up hot on several occasions, but it is the unsettled spring time of the year, and we have not yet employed the air conditioning. ... show more

  • Not supportive, sinks down in middle to start
Size: Twin Style: 8 Inch
I bought this to replace an old king and downsize. I am 62 yr. old woman weight 190#. It opened up nicely and I put on my new cover..all seemed good 1st night I slept fairly well but was difficult to turn or move I sunk down a good 6 inches and only found going to edges improved firmness. After last night and 4 hours sleep on motrin I have decided to give to my grandkids and get a springform/memoryfoam one. I hope it stays firmer and I am able to turn without pulling out my body Also even with a cooling topper it felt very hot. Increased back pain once up out of it. Not good when 62 too much work to toss in the night and not cool ... show more

  • Good bed
Size: Full Style: 10 Inch
It is firm but at the same time when you lay down you sink in a little and it conforms to you. I like sleeping in it, it's very soft. The only thing that's not great is getting out of bed is a little hard because since it sinks in where you lay you have to push yourself off the bed to get out. A little difficult but a good nights rest. ... show more

  • Comfortable but smelly -update-
Size: Queen Style: 10 Inch
I have two different king sized sheets to fully wrap this mattress to keep the smell down. NO , it never goes away. Ive had it for 2 years now. Update. 3 years . Still , the smell of this is SO STRONG. Like , its not even gone down a little bit since the day I bought it. That is with the wrapped sheets. I needed to use plastic wrap or something. I wont be taking this with me when I move and I wont be buying another one. However, giant foam style does have its advantages. I will say that it hasnt lost any form or function after all this time and I know springs would have been permanently worn and sagging by now. I sit in the same spot on this bed all day so it will sag after a while. Rotate it around and its good to go for another week. It will sag a little but I mean ive had fully supported and cushy rest for 3 years straight with no signs of this material weakening. It smells like textile chemicals though but if you solve that, or at least dampen it , it should serve you well. I weight 140lbs. This is also important. You dont want to get the thickness I got and weigh more than 150. At 140 im fully supported but after hours , when its fully settled, im supported but I can feel that I have no more room left for compression. Certain positions of sitting will hurt your back if your not sitting with your back against something. This is one property that spring mattresses beat it on. The support while sitting indian style with no back rest is terrible. Basically its not really stiff enough. In my opinion , whatever the stiffest you can get , get it. It will still be soft and cushy because its foam but you wont sink as much and that will save your back. Its pretty great for sleeping flat though. In that respect it feels better than spring mattresses that were good. My grandmothers bed was the most comfy ever but it wore out too. This foam doesnt really wear out but its never going to be quite as stiff as a spring set could be even on the thickest version. I have a queen it says but its closer to a Full+ . For my size I dont think two people would fit under every circumstance comfortably. Sure two people can fit but rolling in the night and the extra room for all that wont be there. You also cant rely on stock frames. Because it has no springs you need a lot of wooden planks on your frame to keep from sagging down in a spot that isnt supported(you will drop). I had to buy 6x8 wooden boards to lay on the metal frame and it took freakin 7 of em. I really should have gotten 9. No, not a single flat piece of sub floor. Trust me. Planks. Dont spill anything on it because its a giant sponge. I always sit on it with plenty of blankets and sheets underneath. Im grateful for it even though the smell sucks. If im honest, if you dont cover it or wrap it, you wont be able to bear it. Pros - Living alone, you just sleep on a different side each night or even switch sides in the middle of the night for good support and comfort all night. It doesnt wear down like a spring mattress does and with the use of support pillows, you can get all the comfort you really need out of a single person. 10 inch is the minimum thickness in my opinion. Its lighter than most and can be easily moved around the room on its base. The queen I got gives my 5 10 inch body plenty of room all around. I can sprawl out any which way I want. Cons - The smell is always strong unless you wrap it up. I even tried plastic wrap at one point but switched to 2 king sized sheets. If you keep it wrapped it will cut the smell down by 70 percent. Dont spill anything on it but water. Its a giant sponge. To clean a spill, you will need to equally soak it again and then sponge it up somehow. Avoid all spills on foam matts. It does form to your body after a while and it can lead to higher body temps. Choose bed sheets that are light and comforters that let your body breathe more than the thicker fluffier others. Avoid large pillows for your head as the body will sink a little into the foam. Avoid really firm pillows for the same reason. It can be a little tricky to find the right balance of heat of comfort but I enjoy this mattress anyway. Its a bit of a pain, but its been better value for something equal in springs. A queen mattress with springs with the support I want would be much more than this cost me. ... show more

  • Very comfortable mattress
Size: Twin Style: 8 Inch
Came in a box all smashed together but after you release it, it takes about 24 hours for it to come to its full thickness in full Ness. It works perfect for my Trendle beds that I bought a 8 inch and a 6 inch for the bottom, and they were perfect!
