Edit: I previously had gotten a set from them which did not seem to work well with my keyboard as after being connected for a day it was like it did not register the keyboard anymore. They were kind enough to reach out and send me a replacement, which I really appreciate and it does work with my keyboard now. However, keep in mind that the product that you are using with this, is very hard to take out of whatever USBc you are using. For example I connected it to my phone, but whenever I was in the car I would have to unplug the little piece and it was very stuck in there. So either you would have to get a few of these adapters to use with all plugs or you have to forcibly take it out every time.

The magnetic connection appears to provide protection against damaging the charging port and it charged my wife's phone quickly, but it overheated and stopped working. BEWARE - this may not be a fluke! I put the other one in a place where it couldn't burn my house down...

I am using this to populate the USB-C port on my new EcoFlow River 2 Max. I didn't want to wear out the USB-C port on the expensive battery pack. I then plug a magnetic USB-C cable into this adapter so I'm now magnetic on both ends of my charging setup. I couldn't find anyone that made a magnetic cable on both ends so this solves my use case for now.

The connectors are solid and the magnets are pretty strong. They work great for power delivery and USB. But I'm writing this review to specifically report on Thunderbolt, because there weren't many. The connectors seem to be a bit flaky with actual Thunderbolt devices though. I have these on a 2019 Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.4 (Thunderbolt 3) and a 2023 Dell something or other running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.7 (Thunderbolt 4). The issue is they have to be connected in just the right way for the Thunderbolt-native components to work. At first I thought they didn't work at all, but after a few disconnects and reconnects both the right angle and straight connectors work. The negotiation is a bit slow as well, which makes me wonder how good and error-free the connection actually is at the protocol layer. The behavior is the same on two laptops from different manufacturers and two different operating systems and consistent between two different style connectors, so I'm certain it is the connectors themselves. Overall I'm not totally disappointed with the connectors and will be using them for power, USB, and yes still Thunderbolt. I am a little disappointed that switching my dock between these two laptops will be a bit more tedious, and unfortunately Thunderbolt KVMs are expensive and there aren't many to choose from, so I'll deal with these for now.
