I got this to use on an old 7" Fire tablet primarily for reading. It's so easy to adjust as needed to switch hands, orientation, etc. For 12'ish bucks, can't be beat. Can't imagine not using one of these on a e-reader.

As you can see in the picture, I don't have a thick case. Unfortunately this strap is designed to work without a case. It’s very soft and comfortable to use.

For years, I mounted my PaperLight in a fold over jacket. It protected the tablet but added extra weight and made it awkward to hold at times. I bought this strap to make the tablet easier to hold with one hand. The hooks can go from corner to corner, long edge to edge or any combination of the two. The sliding pad can be positioned along the the elastic strap and is loose enough to insert a finger. This makes the strap almost infinitely adaptable to individual preferences.
