I'm not usually a review writer, but I wanted to write this review for anyone else who may benefit from it. I attached this to my Onyx Boox Max Lumi, and it works wonderfully! I think a few other reviews may point out that it's unstable or flimsy, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I attached it to the bottom of the tablet in portrait orientation, and it sits perfectly on a table without falling over or even being the slightest bit wobbly. It's a bit awkward in landscape mode. The viewing angle is not optimal, and it's not the most stable. However, I have a folio case I use for landscape mode, so it's not that big an issue. I mostly attached this for portrait mode (how I use the tablet 90% of the time anyways). Would recommend if you're looking for a lightweight solution to prop up your Onyx Boox Max Lumi! ... show more

    • Have a Samsung Tab or devices that use ERM? Do not buy.

This product is something that I really wanted to like. There is a massive desert when it comes to good accessories for Samsung tablets. Nothing like what you can find for Apple iPads. So this seemed like a really good solution. Just add this and get a removable, slim kickstand for multiple viewing angles. It's exactly what I wanted. So it's a dang shame that not only does the intended product not work well, but it also actively messes with the S-Pen functionality. If you have a device and write with the S Pen or ERM pen, then you can stop reading the review after this because this is a non-starter. The magnets in the Moft stand WILL cause your pen to write wavey lines, dead spots, where the magnets are located on the back. Since I wanted this as a riser for notes and sketches, that's a full failure. But there's more. Even though the magnets are strong enough to mess with SPen functionality, they are NOT strong enough to actually keep the device confidently attached to the stand. If you try to lift the tablet using the kickstand alone, it will just fall off. It won't stay attached. That means it has a pull force of less than 500g and that's just not enough. It's very frustrating for it to be this flimsy. And continuing on that trend, this version is 50g heavier and slightly thicker and stiffer than the adhesive-only version. You would think that would be a good thing, but it actually means that it's less likely to hold its shape when in any folded configuration. It's just more unwieldy. In the highest configuration, the magnets to lock in the triangle are not strong enough/the material is too stiff to hold up under pressure and it collapses to the next level down. I should mention that this is not the case with the adhesive-only version. So, great idea, not a good execution. I'm also using the adhesive-only variant and that actually does solve a lot of the problems that this variant has at the cost of not being removable. It's lighter, more sturdy, can hold the weight of the tablet, and doesn't mess with the ERM. For some, that's a reasonable trade off. ... show more

Using this with my 12.9 iPad Pro, and although it holds it up in both portrait (finally a portrait stand!) and landscape, I don’t feel that the magnet is as secure as I would like. I find that it tends to slip a bit from the original position on the back of my iPad, especially as I’m using the iPad throughout the day, requiring repositioning. I do like how thin and light it is though, barely registering as being heavier than just the iPad by itself. Also wish they would remove the logo from the magnet-enabling sticker part that attaches to the iPad. I really don’t like additional logos on my device. ... show more

This is a high quality stand, from the material and adhesive, to the design and customization. Great for those we want to keep their devices as they bought it (i.e. not loaded to the gills with ugly thick cases and protectors), yet need some extra hand-free utility. LIKES - 4 different positions (2 portrait, 2 landscape) - Fold pretty flat and flush - Strong reusable adhesive. You can readjust the stand anytime or use it between devices. - Material looks expensive. DISLIKES - More stand positions would be great. - Doesn't work well on softer surfaces, such as beds, or laps. ... show more

Recently I started using my iPad Air a lot writing. The smart keyboard is great an low wight, but you cant change the screen angle. On the other hand, the new Logitech Combo Touch is great for its backlight and track pad, but the case (not the keyboard) is super heavy. I swapped the bulky case with Moft stand. It is not the perfect solution, mainly because the keyboard connection is not as flexible, but I love the different angles I can put the device. Also, non of the apple-sold cases (smart and Logi touch) does not work in portrait, but Moft stand is perfect for portraits and even as a kickstand for drawing. ... show more

Great product for use with my iPad Air 3 - and exactly what I was looking for: slim, multiple viewing angles/orientations, and allows use of Logitech combo touch keyboard (the bulk of the Logitech case is too much for my taste but I love the keyboard with touchpad). A little difficult to find the right spot on soft or uneven surfaces, but not unbearable. Also, I found that it does provide a handle/holder/anchor (?) of sorts when I am holding the iPad... bottom line is I have much better control with this in the back and my hand in it than with nothing. I've had this for ONE day and it's already starting to crack. It's very flimsy and as other reviewers have said, the magnet is weak so my iPad slips. I thought it would be fine for my 2018 iPad which is smaller, but this would definitely not work for an iPad Pro. If this product were $10, it would be fine. But for $40, I'm extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, I haven't found a similar alternative since I need a thin stand that I can use in portrait and landscape. But I would not purchase this again or recommend it. ... show more
