Best purchase for this year. I’ve always wanted. One of the origami type covers for my mini iPad. It’s not cheap, but definitely worth the price because of its quality and functionality. It does take a little research and practice to use the different types of stand, but with a little practice, you’ll be able to take advantage of the many options. This is a definite must if you travel often like I do. It’s helpful to use in the office, on flights, and just for leisure. If it’s perfectly for my mini iPad and doesn’t get in the way with the charging. The only slight drawback is that the magnet can be a little bit stronger. There are times when I fidget with it and it does come loose a little bit, but not to a point where I’ve ever dropped my mini iPad.

I had been eyeing this folio specifically because of all the different viewing angles, especially for travel, and it exceeded my expectations. The folding design gives you so many options for positioning the iPad, from very low angles for using it on your lap to more upright positions for watching videos or working. The best surprise was discovering that I didn’t have to remove my Spigen Enzo case to use it. I wanted to keep the Spigen on for the added edge protection and secure Apple Pencil holder, and the MOFT still attaches magnetically over it. This also makes switching between my Magic Keyboard and the MOFT incredibly easy. I can simply detach the iPad from the keyboard, attach the MOFT, and go. I bought this primarily for airplane travel because I wanted something that would let me comfortably prop my 13-inch iPad on my lap, including during takeoff and landing when the tray table has to be put away. The number of available angles makes it much more versatile than a standard trifold folio. It is slim, feels well made, protects the screen when closed, and essentially gives me a folio and adjustable stand without needing another accessory. I actually bought another folio at the same time because I assumed this wouldn’t work with my Spigen case. That one is now being returned because the MOFT does everything I wanted. Very happy with this setup and definitely recommend it, especially if you use your iPad in a lot of different environments.

Excellent origami style case that fits my new A16 iPad perfectly. The magnetic enclosure appears very strong and adequately secures the device. The cover seems high quality and very robust. Note that it is a folio style case without a clamshell, so the outer perimeter of the iPad is uncovered. The nice thing is that it exposes the iPad design better. I’ve used a Moshi VersaCover origami for many years and this cover is just as good, if not superior. Folding the cover takes a little learning. If you’ve spent hundreds on a new iPad, spending a little bit more to get a nice case seems a no brainer. Hopefully the warranty is on par with the Moshi 10 year warranty, if needed.

I'm using it with my iPad Mini, for context. It self-aligns really easy, the magnets are strong so it feels secure, it folds relatively intuitively, the texture doesn't feel that sort of cheap feeling rubbery plastic can sometimes feel, and thee whole thing feels pretty stable. But that sturdiness comes at a cost. It's not light. My iPad Mini is about 290g and the case weighs about 180g. Sometimes I pull it off just to hold my iPad on it's own. That being said, it's super easy to do so it's fine. But the added weight is noticeable on such a small device. I think with an iPad Pro it'd be less of a thing but adding 60% additional weight is a lot. For the price, for how it works and how it is to use, it's worth it. One star off for that but still a strong recommend.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I received my case but had ordered an alternative just in case. This case is amazing- The magnets are great. I think it offers the best choices of alternative configurations of any case available. I’ll be honest, some of the negative reviews had me worried. The only configuration that you have to be aware of is the one that holds the iPhone above the iPad. In this scenario, if you have a pro max, you will need to place it horizontally instead of vertically. It works great. I love this case and feel it is ideal if you travel. It is so light. Is it a protective shield for your iPad, no. But Moft has never advertised that this case is an armor shield. This case is for optimal positioning, ergonomics, and ease of utilization. If you are skeptical, order a backup case at the same time. You will end up returning the backup, just as I did. Thank you Moft. This is just what I needed. Highly recommend.

They never lied. It does indeed have 20+ different configurations and I love all of them. No, most people will only use their favorite three - possibly four - but I love having as many configurations to play around with and trust me they’re all useful in their many different ways. Whynn might have thought previously that 20+ forms is overkill, but when used correctly, it is absolutely perfect. I do not know how other companies don’t try to replicate even a fraction of this functionality. Now, the case itself is a quality unlike any other. It uses a material that I have never seen or felt before. Now, while I do wish the blue color was on the outside, it must as little because you get to see so much of it while doing the origami folds. The material used is very durable as I have not seen a scratch yet and it does not show dirt or scuffs. It is also extremely easy to clean being waterproof by virtue of what material material was used. It was so easy to put on. It’s not writing into place with magnets no guidelines necessary. It knew exactly where it needed to go and it fits perfectly. Now, while the side rails of the device are exposed, there is some amount of protection there too because there is a well considered overhang that prevents it from accidental buffs. Because of the naked side rails, all the buttons are easily accessible in their raw form. Why this case is a little bit heavy compared to others of its kind, that weight is a testament it’s quality and the Engineering With all these features, its price point is perfect and it’s such great value for money. Other cases that do a fraction of this with less aesthetic appeal cost way more.

I've had a number of cases for my iPads over the past few years. Some cheap, some stupidly expensive. They almost all worked for what I needed- protection for the tablet and a system for propping it up so I can read. One brand I've never had was Moft. I heard a lot about them and their origami style covers, but never owned one until now. I bought the version for the Ipad Pro 13 inch M4/M5 model. The cover itself is very basic. The back magnetically attached to the iPad and it has a fold over cover. The cover is very thin and light. It's good for preventing scratches and your screen clean. Honestly, it doesn't provide much protection in case of a drop though. If you drop the iPad while in the Moft case, it will get damaged. There are no corner bumpers or anything. It's a little disappointing for the very high price. Why justifies the price? The origami system built into the cover. There are strategically placed magnets and creases in the case that allows you to configure over a dozen different support positions for your iPad. It's really kind of cool but takes a lot of practice to remember how to get into and out of each configuration. Moft does provide a nice pictogram system in the box showing you how to configure each. You can get your iPad into some really helpful positions. It makes it almost worth the cost. Why only 3 stars? First, the cost. At $70 full price, it's way overpriced for what you get. I got it on a black Friday sale and the sale was the only reason I bought it. Secondly, the magnets holding the iPad in place are really rather weak. I've had the iPad come loose a few times. Finally, the drop protection is non-existent. The cover will protect from scratches and such, but not a drop. Overall, it's just an ok case with a cool support gimmick. I can't recommend buying it at full price. If on sale, give it a shot.
