We needed to replace the old valves in our shower from a three handles, (hot, cold, and diverter) to a single throw newer faucet. We wanted Delta fixtures and we did not want to retile the whole bathroom. Our plumber was able to remove only enough tile to remove the old valves, combine the water pipes to fit the new single throw and cover it completely with the Moen 1920 cover plate without retiling. Clear silicone seals the deal and it all looks great. Yes, it will work with most Delta single throws. The diverter is now on the tub spout below. Very reasonable fix. And , it looks very nice! The other cover plates we saw available were in our opinion we just ugly and plain. This cover plate has some lines and style that look good and now we have a new shower system with little money out. Thanks Amazon, quick, easy, inexpensive. We love it! ... show more

This better quality cover plate allows cutting a larger hole in the shower wall for access to the plumbing that needs service. The plumber, me, has an easier time with the repair and a beautiful chrome plate to cover the hole I made.

This is a nice heavy gauge plate with a good finish. It allowed the replacement of my old two handle valve with a single control valve, in a wall with only front access. That said, I did have some issues. I used a Moen M-PACT pressure balancing valve, which is very wide due to the pressure/temperature control features. This allowed very little space to hook up plumbing resulting in a very tedious installation. In retrospect would have used Moen Moen 2580 PosiTemp Pressure Balancing Shower Valve, 1/2-Inch PEX. The plate instructions gave no clue how far forward the valve should be, and the valve instructions indicated the plastic "ground" plate should be flush with the wall. I installed the valve all the way forward in the wall cavity, attempting to get the ground plate flush with the face of the cover (big mistake). After everything was permanent, realized there was no room for the nice heavy duty mounting brackets for the plate, and the valve handle sticks out too far. I should have installed with ground plate flush with WALL Too late to change, had to make custom brackets. ... show more

I bought a 3570 valve, a T3111 trim kit, and a 1920 cover plate. This was what was required to replace my old two handle shower set-up. I called Moen before I bought the parts on Amozon where they were less expencie and avialable sooner than local stores to verify that all parts were compatible. At the end of the instalation there was a problem with one of the screws that hold the cover plate in place. I called Moen support to see if I could buy a replacement screw and they sent me a replacement over-night FedEx, no charge! How's that for customer service?... The final results are excellent quality, great looks, and super support. ... show more

This is a great visual design. I really like how it looks. Yes, it does look great. It is made out of metal with a nice finish. It does come with the hardware, and it has a 5" hole in the center. It adds 3/4 inches to the height of the finished wall, so make sure you have wriggle room behind and you can adjust the valve by moving the 2x4 support. That is what I had to do so the lever/trim could reach the stem threads and lock all in place. . ... show more

I'm still finishing my install but I wanted to show you what your looking at once installed. It's very nice and does what it supposed to. I had to buy a Moen 2" handle extension kit because my shower valve is deeper in the wall and this plate and the fixtures plate adds a little more thickness for the handle to pass through with the original part. The 1920 plate is perfect if you need plumbing work but dont want them to destroy you bathroom tile with a massive hole ... show more
