Are you kidding me? This is the nicest piece of furniture in house. Solid, heavy, well-made, and ridiculously sexy. My wife is a California Dime, and on a good-day I am an Oregon 7...but just owning this table puts me in her league. If you do the disposable furniture thing (divorced dude / dormroom / 5-year plan) Target/Wal-Mart particularly board stuff (no judgement), This price tag will seem enormous. If you do heirloom quality, estate auction furniture, this will seem cheap. If you are like me and want to invest just enough to be better-looking by association, them this is the goldilocks of coffee-tables.
