Nice and spacious while sitting inside. Study construction. Very comfortable. I like the design and darker color. Placed indoors. Side note. I would have liked a larger cushion, as you have to sit a bit closer to the edge to have your head rest on the cushion instead of the chair. I'm 5'10" and sometimes have to adjust for the provided cushion. Will get a bigger cushion if it becomes a annoyance. Came on a pallet and the packaging was solid, took a while to unpack all the parts. Assembly was very simple and quick. Cons: Shipping too a few days longer than estimated. Was called day before to see if someone would be available to receive the next day, but no one showed up. This happened twice and I had to wait around because the delivery window was from 4pm to 9pm.

This is the first egg chair I’ve ever bought and I’m glad I spent the extra money to buy it. It’s pretty much preassembled so it’s easy to put together. It’s well wrapped to prevent any damage during shipping. The cushion is very comfy. The size of the chair is perfect as it totally encapsulates you while you’re in it (I’m 5’11). The chair is quite durable. I have it on my deck and it’s held up so far to some pretty big storms. The cover that comes with it is nice, but the buckles on the straps did break quite quickly. Nevertheless, the cover still works pretty well as I just tie the straps together. The only real issue I have with the chair is that the arm that holds it up was already rusting by the time it came to me. It’s not super noticeable and probably could be fixed with a little paint. The chair is still strong and easily supports my weight.

The good: The chair is absolutely beautiful, very comfortable, and easy to put together. I was able to assemble the chair by myself in under 20 minutes. The biggest issue I faced with assembly was that the vertical post kept spinning around when I was trying to attach it to the base. Once I got the first bolt in, the assembly went smoothly. It would probably be a bit easier with 2 people. The not so good: the delivery company. My chair sat in their warehouse for days with no update and was only put into transit when I called asking questions. Getting anyone from the delivery company on the phone was a huge challenge. I was hung up on several times, the wait times to speak to anyone were over an hour each time I called, and no one responded when I sent an email. While delivery was earlier than expected, the delivery company was also supposed to call me to schedule delivery once the chair arrived in the local distribution center. Unfortunately, no one ever called. Instead the delivery men showed up at my house unexpectedly and their paperwork showed that someone had not only called me but left a voicemail which wasn’t true. Overall I would highly recommend the chair. Just be forewarned when it comes to delivery!

Pros: Easy to assemble Comfortable to sit it (on my balcony on the 20th floor and it’s just perfect) Stylish contemporary look All purpose: working on my laptop or morning coffee with a book or to nap in. Cons: Am 5’8. Not spacious enough to curl your legs in unless you’re a small yogi with great flexibility (and I am a yogi with ok flexibility and still find it quite tedious). But I have an ottoman that I place in front of. Very comfortable when you can stretch you legs like that. Cushion for outdoors all-weather purpose. So it’s not the softest cuddly type of cushion. But that’s the trade-off and I’m ok with it. My seller and their delivery service (outsources) were not helpful. Item finally delivered almost 4 weeks later with little communications and meaningful update. So just do your research on your seller and their delivery service. Worst online purchase experience I’ve had (and I buy a lot of stuff online).

I am 5’ 6” and 128 lbs and put this together myself (for context for those of you who need it). I am a trained dancer but am also going through chemotherapy currently soooo I have *not* been hitting the gym. The takeaway: one person who is reasonably strong can do this themselves. There is a lot of packaging to deal with, so be prepared for that if you live in an apartment. But I had originally seen this on AllModern/WayFair where it got straight 5 stars 🌟. When I saw it here, I was concerned that it might not be the same product or something BUT I’m happy to say I love it. It was only a few dollars cheaper than the other site but the point is I got the chair that I really wanted. It is very strong, extremely comfortable, and worth the money.

The box was not in very good shape when it arrived and the chair was misshapen because of being squished at some point. Still enjoyable, but almost impossible to get back into the shape it is supposed to be. Overall the chair is good and if the shipping was better it wouldn't have been an issue.

I will say this piece is beautiful. However, when I received this item, my ring camera shows the packaging is damaged. As a result, the item sustained damage. Also, the chain at the top of the chair that holds the chair up to the stand is peeling. At the bottom of the stand there is a piece of hard plastic covering a screw ( I assume so your floor doesn’t get scratched) which is broken and, yes now my vinyl floor has a gash. Looks can be deceiving. Although this piece looks beautiful, it seems not to be made with the best quality and has caused my floor damage and myself disappointment. Definitely, not worth $700. Also, I find it hard to get a good constant communication going with the seller. I’m aiming for a refund and now I have to be home from work to wait for UPS to pick up the item. My job has me out of town so this is just a hard situation that I didn’t anticipate.
