It takes a bit to get the hang of this, it can be sticky messy and frustrating. This is attempt number one.. certain molds kept lifting off the nail creating air pockets. Did I say this stuff was sticky already? Lol, the cleanup was kind of a nightmare. Probably user error. Feels like it will be durable when done correctly, not giving up just yet. Also, The UV light that comes with the kit starts omitting a burning smell when plugged in, I would plug it in and out as I used.

From the reviews I was concerned, there would be a steep learning curve with a lot of mess. The first time I tried to do the nails. But honestly, I found it extremely easy. I followed the instructions and I think they turned out pretty great. The hardest part was honestly getting a good almond shape but that just takes practice. Things I specifically did: 1. Make sure your nail bed is clean and the cuticle is cut back. Make sure it’s buffed well, a rough surface I think helps the poly gel adhere better. Right before I put the base coat down I wiped down each nails with nail polish remover. 2. Cuticle scissors helped me clean up the excess that came out around the form. That was one thing I struggled just a little bit with, but as I used the forms, I got better at placing the poly gel inside the form more consistently, so that it didn’t press out around the sides when applied to the nail. 3. I have not used the lamp that came with the set. I purchased a gel nail kit from Beetles on Amazon that has a pretty decent lamp. Using the beetles lamp, the gel dried very quickly. 4. It did not take me long to do a full set. Probably about an hour. If you are comfortable painting your own nails, including your non-dominant hand- I don’t think this kit is very hard to use to get a good result. Especially at this price point I think it’s definitely worth it. Ignore the curious dog in the photo 🤣 I did my nails on a Thursday, this picture was taken on a Sunday. The nails feel secure, and do not feel like they are going to pop off. I saw some reviews that showed the full nails falling off, I would assume that they potentially didn’t buff the nail well enough or did not use the base correctly because I’ve had zero issues.

This is all really easy to use for inexperienced people wanting to do their own nails. I have always just bought the glue on kits. I like they way these look and feel more than the typical "Kiss" or other brand nails that you glue on. I haven't seen any damage to my nails after taking the first set off and putting on a second; HOWEVER, I will say this disclaimer ****during the process of curing under the light, my nail beds BURNED LIKE HELL**** while the base, poly gel, and top coat, all THREE steps that you have to separately cure, ALL hurt under the light. Personally, my nails are naturally thin, so maybe it's just my experience and I got used to the feeling. It doesn't hurt bad enough to not use, and like I said, I haven't noticed any damage this far. I just want to let new users know that there may be discomfort while using the light, but the results are great. Also, the clear poly gel, which I was looking forward to using the most, barely works at all. It is nearly impossible to work with and immediately went in the trash after I gave it a few tries. Maybe another brand like beetle has higher quality gel that I can use with this light/ kit. Other than those things, I don't regret my purchase. I will probably invest in different brands of poly gel and I also bought a nail drill with multiple head shapes to help shape the poly gel. This is a great deal with almost everything you need to help beginners like myself learn and obtain a nice manicure that lasts.

Lo único que recomiendo es que compres otra lampara porque esta es muy mala no seca lo suficiente y tengo que encenderla 5 veces o mas, de resto hay comprar todo por separado la marca es muy buena siempre compro de esta marca el gel es super facil de usar y manejable
