This is NOT a paid review... I was excited to get these. Just two days after ordered, I could hardly wait to use them. Very simple to apply. Picked out my sizes and set them aside. Used dehydrator (my own) and primer (provided in kit) prior to applying the 4-in-1 nail glue. If you can paint your nails, you can do this! Applied glue, placed nail tip and cured under provided lamp for two cycles, (approximately 60 seconds). Clipped to length with provided clippers and filed to my preference. Then I added the Lily & Fox "stickers" (I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just a long time customer.) Then I applied a top coat. I must say that I absolutely love how they turned out. Once painted/decorated they are beautiful!! I have had to re-glue 3 nails the same day of application, but I chalk that up to not enough glue. I expected this; learning curve and all... Twenty-four hours, they feel solid and strong, like they may last for quite some time. I would definitely recommend this product to any and all who wish to not go to a salon and still have strong beautiful nails. For this reason I would give them a strong 5 star review! Great product! However... my fingernails feel like they have been smashed in a door, especially my little fingernails. They feel bruised and are burning. I have used Modelones products for a couple of years, i.e., gels, polygels, base and top coats, etc., and I have not had any issues before. The only thing that makes sense is that I am having an issue with the glue. It is certainly NOT a product issue. So, with this information, I would highly recommend that when you use this product, only apply one nail and wait a half an hour or so. I know, its hard, but nails on fire for 24 hours sucks!! I will be removing them today. 😪 Again, super easy to apply and they are be-you-tiful!! And I highly recommend them. Just please, do one test nail first!! You will not be sorry!! Thanks for reading this to the end. Enjoy!! UPDATE: I applied these nail tips on Sunday, today is Wednesday... I did not remove them. The burning sensation in my little fingers has subsided. The nails are still tender to touch, but no longer throbbing. I would highly recommend only putting one nail tip on and waiting a little while before applying all of them. Again, I would most definitely recommend this product. They are beautiful. 2nd UPDATE: I had 2 nails pop off today. (See picture above.) Absolutely no damage to my fingernails. You can see the glue on my nails, but no peeling. Would I use these again? You bet! I'll apply a gel basecoat and topcoat first to hopefully prefent the irritation. Oh, and this second update is 8 days after application and I am not gentle with them. I cook, clean, wash dishes, tend to my critters, scratch my head, etc. (Head scratching is wonderful, by the way,) but they are never babied. I just glue them back on and continue on with life. No pain with the pop off either. Try them. They are wonderful!!

Definitely get different clippers. I tried these ones and they were not smooth going. One of the nails, it hesitated on me and caused the nail to crack. I tried a different set of clippers I bought separately and they worked flawlessly for the rest of the nails. With that one cracking it gave me a good idea on how removal would go. I soaked for about 20 minutes in pure acetone and it dissolves nicely. I used gel polish removal tools to clean what little was left on the nail and there was no damage to my mail from the whole process. I was pleasantly surprised with how nicely it came off. So I guess the clippers causing a problem helped me see soon in that removal is smooth. The tips seem strong. Ive never done this application process before, I’ve only ever done false nails using the standard nail glue. I tugged on the nail and it was definitely secured on my nail. I applied a gel polish after and the polish went on nicely as it has with other false nails. I just need practices with applying while the nail is already on my finger. So don’t judge any of this by my horrible paint job lol I’m glad I got this kit. I’ve had this first application on for 3-4 days and none of them have budged. Usually I’m gluing at least one nail back on by now. I do hope they last at this strength. I’ll try them longer next time. I wanted shorter nails at the time I did these ones. It takes getting used to for the application but it wasn’t too bad for the first time. I may try nail clips in the future to help hold down for the light. I definitely like the little light for this since it is one nail at a time and it allows for me to hold the nail while it starts to cure. Definitely recommend! Excited to do another set!

This is the 2nd time I've used anything like this before. If you are doing this for the 1st/2nd time please allow time for the process. Picking right size for your finger was a bit of a challenge for me but 2nd time was a lil quicker because I set aside the sizes from 1st application. Then I did a dry fit again just to make sure I didn't need a different size. I have really enjoyed my nails. I'm still learning how to file/shape them. I like shorter sqared off nails. Having the nail cutter included is so nice to have. I'm going on my 3rd week (2nd set)now. They are still stuck to my fingers and no issue. The 1st time I applied the nails I didn't get enough glue so my pinky finger after a week became loose. I reapplied the glue and used light provide (thank you for providing. Makes applying nails so much easier. Even my daughter liked it. She was using different brand nails with UV flashlight which worked good but then had to cure with whole hand light.) and was stuck good until I was ready to take off. I wish they weren't as curved (sculped) so it would lay flatter to my nail but that's not a bad enough negative to take stars away or keep me from buying them again. Overall I like this product and would buy again. I've enjoyed having nails, doing them myself and not paying salon prices. Plus it keeps me from nervous picking at the sides of my fingers. They are sturdy and durable. Hope this helps.. Enjoy! I really have.

Kinda tricky at first.. the key to a good long lasting hold is to pick a nail that is the correct size and spot on size for ur nail. I found that when I added nails that were a little too big for my natural nails they did not last as long. The glue wouldn’t last on them and I found myself having to repair or redo those nails. But when I re did them with nails that fit perfectly.. the hold was incredible and did not come off for my entire 2 week trip.. I had to pry them off. Very good dupe as opposed to spending hundreds in the nail salon. Would definitely recommend

This product changes EVERYTHING - do not hesitate to buy and try - and how did I not know about this product sooner!? The kit contains EVERYTHING you need to have beautiful nails. No more nail salon for me! Easy to use. Follow the instructions. Follow all the suggestions in other reviews - ie - do not use too much gel glue, a thin coat on your natural nail, and a THIN coat on the artificial nail before you place nail at 45 degrees... ect. I usually don't write reviews no matter how happy I am with a product... but I have spent hundreds at the salon, before I give up... and have NEVER been able to say that I have been able to go beyond a week and a half without having to make an appointment - weather it was crappy application (lifting, yellowing, too thick, too thin) or my crazy OILY nail beds that often result in LIFTING - and I am a picker - if its rough, bumpy, has an edge - I PICK. I have experienced NONE of that with this product - my first try. The little lamp is CUTE as can be - I love it - the only struggle is getting my fat fingers holding the nail TIGHT under the lamp together - but some practice will help that. Now - if they could only make skin care and weight loss as easy as this!

April 2023 Update: upping to 4 stars. The light still works and, even if it’s a bit awkward, it was a good beginner tool. The nail clippers are still amazing. The full coverage tips are fine but I’ve bought better elsewhere. The basecoat/glue is a hard pass. Still absolutely useless. Find another type of glue to use and you *might* be fine. Original: Wasted several hours of my time. 8 of my 10 nails broke off the same day. I had roughed up the nail surface, used a nail dehydrator, and tried my best to minimize any air pockets when applying the nail. Yes, I cured it for long enough and everything was sealed . I think superglue would have been better honestly. I’ve gotten longer wear out of $5 KISS nails. My thumbs were size 5 so 0-4 were giant on me. I ended up using them as test nails for my new polishes. As least they’re not completely wasted. The light is cute enough but still a bit awkward to hold a nail on under. My fingers felt a bit of burning though and they’re all a bit red the day after, light the sensation of a light sunburn (UV, makes sense).

My daughter's bought this and has been doing her nails and mine , super fun and just seemed to get the hang of them easy . The value is great and the glue works well , only complaint is the nails there self could be stronger becaues they break easy but it comes with a ton so she doesn't really mind just replaces the broken one quickly. If ur a beginner and nails and just looking for something cute and fun. I would say this is the perfect product for you
