After seeing the other reviews I was kinda in between trying this but it was cheaper so I took the chance and when I opened the Amazon package it there was no smell, no leaks or spillage it was tightly closed. Now I haven’t used this yet so I can’t tell you if it’s a string hold or not but atleast I got the full product and no mess like the rest of the reviews and the brush was already in the tube. I’m gonna be using this for my gel polish. Once I use it I’ll try to remember to update if it’s a strong hold or not! ... show more

This was very easy and convenient. Just an additional step to gel polish. However not sure if it was me and my thin nails but it damaged my nails very badly. I did not want to take off a star because of that. It did what it was supposed to do, which was make my polish last. Needless to say it made my gel polish last a good while. Without it my gel polish would last 2weeks w/o chipping. With this it lasted a little over 3 weeks. I personally would not be using again because of how it damaged my nails when I tried to remove it. But would recommend to someone with stronger nails. ... show more
