I went with the “Cosmo Party” set and unfortunately I didn’t realize that only 2 of the 6 polishes were magnetic. The magnet effect was not as noticeable as I was hoping. Also, the bottles are very small for $20 and I did need 3 coats for full coverage (I didn’t use a colored base). However, the colors are so pretty and great for a beginner since they’re not thick so overall I would recommend! Here are the steps and products I used for my manicure: 1. File, buff, and push back your cuticles. This is the most important step so do it thoroughly! Use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to remove the oils from your nails. Do not touch your nails with your other hand after this! 2. Use Gelish pH Bond to remove any remaining oils. 3. Use a thin coat of Gelish Foundation, which is essentially your base coat. Cure for 30 seconds in the 41 watt Aomida nail lamp. 4. Do 2-3 thin coats of Modelones color polish (mine was from the set called “Cosmo Party”). Cure for 30 seconds in between each layer. If you get any on your skin, take a toothpick to remove the polish on the sides of your nails or cuticles before curing. 5. Apply a thin layer of Gelish Top It Off (which is your top coat) and cure on the low-heat setting which is 120 seconds on this lamp. 4. Use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to rub off the stick layer of gel polish! I hope someone found this helpful. After much research I found and bought all products above on Amazon.     • Gorgeous shades but missing magnet wand

The colors are beautiful. Be aware that these are small, sample-sized bottles and that only two of them do the cat-eye effect, two are plain, and two are glittery. It does say that in the listing but it's easy to miss. My only disappointment is that I did not receive the magnet wand that was supposed to come with the set so until I figure out an easy-to-use solution at home I can't try out the cat eye. ... show more

Five star, because the quality is top tier, though the burgundy looking one in the photo is actually a chocolate brown in real life, and the greenish teal is much more blue in person. I literally bought this for two colours-the Prussian Blue, and what I thought was Burgundy Red. The Wine is a very rich delicious Purple. It's one coat opaque, so I don't understand the sheerness rating. I have used these with their Rhinestone Gel to make jelly polishes that're so pretty, so I guess you can thin them to be sheer, but I didn't find them so as applied straight from the bottle. My only disappointment was that there were discrepancies with the shades pictured, but the affordability and quality of the polishes themselves makes it forgivable. Don't sleep on this brand, their products are so good. I used their holographic topcoat over standard nail lacquers, and got a month without chipping, so I am certain these will last at least that long. ... show more

Colors are a little bit off but I still like them. They are also smaller that what I expect but for what you pay for, you cannot expect for more. I would say each bottles, you can use them twice. So it’s really worth it.

First cat eye I've tried. Not all colors in this are cat eye. I think 3 are cat eye. These colors can be worn over each other for diffrent effects. I'll be buying more!

Color: A Temperature Changing Gel
can’t tell you how many gel & regular polish i’ve tried that just left me frustrated. it’s a great consistency, easy to apply, generally non streak (but if you do apply heavy to one spot it’s easy to go back & fix). i used a regular top coat and the color change was vivid. highly recommend.
