I like that this kit comes with 12 different colored dip powders, activator, and top/base coat! Previous kits came with a separate bottle for the base coat and top coat, so it's nice that they combined it into 1 bottle. Instructions: These are found on the back of the Dip Powder Set package label. They're easy to follow, but make sure you read them all the way through before you start because some of the steps need to be completed close together. Recommendations for application: 1. Use a powder brush or kabuki brush to get the excess powder off of the nail between dips 2. Wait 30 seconds before brushing the excess powder off your nails or you will take off the wet dip as well 3. Repeat the dip steps for a total of 3 times. I find that only dipping twice can cause the finished product to crack and not last the 21 days 4. Use a fine nail file to get off excess product from around the nail and then brush with the powder/kabuki brush before applying the top/base gel 5. Wait about 2 minutes after applying the final activator coat before using the top/base gel. If you apply the top/base gel too early, it causes a chemical reaction that freezes the brush bristles together making it impossible to finish the other nails. 6. DO NOT wash your hands when you're finished with step 8 for at least 5 minutes! If you do, the top of the nails will form a white residue. ... show more

So simple to use.. Works great with nail tips and electric nail drill.. I recommend buying a powder recycler so you don’t waste any.. Containers of powder appear small but after I finished my nails (3 coats on each) it barely made a dent.. Great product! I will buy again... Also I’d like to mention im rough with my hands and have hit them so hard (ouch!) and they still look flawless and stay on.. ... show more

I bought this kit knowing there would be a little bit of a learning curve. I was very pleasantly surprised! EASY to do, if you can paint your nails, you can use the kit. The glitter colors are vibrant and hold up well. So well, I have added another 40 colors or so. The jars are small, but since each manicure uses very little, they will last quite a long time. Tips: Remove/push back cuticles. Pre cut/smooth nails. lightly buff the shine off your natural nails. Wipe with acetone or alcohol to make sure they're dry. Use the base liquid in light coats. (I watched You Tube tutorials before attempting) Do 2-3 coats. Use a 100/180 grit file/block to buff out the ridges and file smooth. Use a cuticle (or other good) oil on your cuticles at the end. If the back edge "catches" or snags in a few days, file, wipe and seal with a clear polish. I can get 3 weeks out of my polish doing the above. I usually want a different color by then. I use clips and cotton balls with acetone to remove. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Personally, I think the dip method is the quickest and easiest method. Especially for beginners like me. I have tried all of them. These powders are so beautiful and vibrant. Not to mention they lumpiness. And d I these colors GLOW! WOW! 🙉 They practically light up a dark room. My kids and I were amazed. Much brighter than another luminess powder I tried. And its easy to achieve the sheer gel look or a more solid color. And for all u gel gals you can add them to modelones clear gel to turn them into the coordinating colored gel. You have to see them in person to see just how gorgeous they are. Im a mom and truly am a beginner. I have only done a handful of sets on myself. I love this dip method. Order some if you haven tried it. If you don"t agree we all know, Amazon is great on returns. Just order and then like me keep your eyes open for your nail mail. I LOVE NAIL MAIL!! And you'll be on your way. I think you'll like it too. I wouldn't say this if. I didnt mean it. So many options and designs are easily achieved with this sets wide array of beautiful and exotic colors. Makes me feel like im off an a wild vacation nit stuck at home with kids and the covid etc. Lol. This is my first time using dip powder and I am thoroughly impressed. I struggled for years trying to find nail polish that didn't chip, peel or take forever to dry. I tried Beetle's gel polish and no matter what I did, it would peel after a couple days. After reading reviews after reviews on dip powder, I ordered this set (mostly cause I love teals and greens) but also that it didn't require an LED or UV lamp. I am hooked! I did 3 layers and it feels solid and took no time at all to dry. I will never go back to liquid nail polish! ... show more

Easy to use, the cups are very small if you have long nails and have to actually dip, do it over paper towel to redeposit the overage/ spillage. Otherwise it's good. The colors are not accurate to the picture if you see my nails. But close enough and still gorgeous colors. Very easy to do. And the amount that came with this kit for the price point, you just can't beat! I hate the base/top coat and activator it came with. Very crappy brush, that was constantly stuck together and not applying as even as I would like. But still managed to make it work. Will be buying my own. There is a very small learning curve, but far less than gel and more forgiving/ fixable errors. I approve and will be saving money instead of going to the salon and dropping more money on what I can now do at home. ... show more
