I’ve been using modelones and beetles polishes for 3 years now because of their price and LET ME TELL YOU. As an independent/mobile mail tech, this set is perfect. The bottles are small but for me that works well because it makes them easy to travel with. This set also comes with an excellent selection if you’re just getting started. I got this set with the rainbow set and while the rainbow set hasn’t come in yet, this one would definitely be enough on its own to get started with. It comes with primer, too coats, base coat, and 36 colors. Very happy with my purchase!! The only downside for me is that some of the colors are thicker than others, which can make them a little more difficult to work with. The key is very thin layers and building up the product slowly. I prefer three thin layers for the thicker consistencies and I’ve found that they perform better during application and last longer this way. ... show more

This is a great set with a good base set of colors. Pigment wise it's really nice and doesn't require a bunch of coats. I honestly debated between stopping after just one coat but went with two since it was my first time using the polish. After 2 weeks, I still haven't seen any chipping and that's even with me doing some chores around the house that included me using a steel wool scrub directly. The box it came in is sturdy and can be used for the storage along with the tray it comes with. If i really had to complain I would say they could improve the color sticker on the top of the brush to be more accurate. There's a window where you can see which color from the front but the sticker on the top is inaccurate and I end up pulling each one out to look at the front to figure out what color i want. ... show more

I used the base coat, color #0993 & the top coat. I was surprised by the quality of the polish & the bottle. The polish is opaque, smooth & not streaky. The bottles are glass with a small window in the front & a color swatch on top… which makes it’s easier to find colors. I ordered some other cheaper polishes & the bottles were plastic… these are far superior & they’re the same price! I’ve worn the polish for a week and a half & it still looks like the day I applied it. I’ve already placed an order for more colors. ... show more

This polish goes on nicely and cures as it should. But it also chips after icky 2 days. I follow the instructions, use primer, prep my nails and nail beds and it just won't stay on. If I was using my hands a great deal I could understand but I'm an Uber driver, shouldn't have issues with gel polish that is properly applied chipping 2 days in. I get more than 2 days with a simple Esi polish ... show more
