Sturdy, attractive, and easy to work with sit-stand side table
My first impression was this desk is solid. The support components were significantly heavy as I unpacked them. I appreciated how only the last two steps remained in the assembly process, I assume because of shipping size. Those two are not exactly easy, though. They require you to screw in two sets of four screws that are positioned in tight quarters, making it hard to impossible to use anything beyond the little hex wrench they included, along with an extra screw just in case. I found it easier to do the first set using the long end for a handle, but the second worked better with the long end attached to the screw. It is tedious to get the first set of nuts tight. The second set requires you to have at least three arms if not more. I'd suggest having help for that step. I did it all on my own by balancing the foot on the arm of my sofa. This worked, but it was the fifth thing I attempted to use, and in the process, I put some scratches on the desktop as I dragged the upside down table from spot to spot. I ran into one other hiccup when I checked how the wheels work. The first wouldn't turn where the rest spun freely. I tried to get it to do the same, but instead, the wheel popped out into my hand. It turned out this was a good thing, because the reason for the jammed wheel was two ball bearings that had slipped out of the groove. The fix was easy, but I was lucky to have the table fully upside down. Otherwise, the ball bearings would have spilled all over the place. Despite the unexpected challenges, the HAPPYMONT Mobile Standing Desk is as solid as I expected, with the lift mechanism one of pressure (and presumably springs of some sort). To release the mechanism, you press the paddle under the left side of the table. At this point, you need to have weight pressing against the mechanism to prevent it from moving too fast or too far. You use your weight to control where the desk will end up. It goes from a relatively low table all the way to standing height for someone much taller than I am. The desk moves easily on its casters, the up and down mechanism is smooth and easy to use once you realize how to control it, and the surface looks like a lovely dark wood. The single black leg works well with the top, too. The desk surface is large enough for a 15-inch laptop, though I use mine on a raked stand so have room for my wireless keyboard in front of it. I also have space for a mouse and snacks, along with a few fiddle toys for when I get stuck. It's a nice size, appears to be sturdy, and the sit to stand is nicely done. I'll have to see how it holds up over time, but for the moment, I am quite happy with my choice of this standing desk. I am not currently using its ability to slide under a bed or sofa because neither my sofa nor my bed have any under space where the foot could go to provide balance. I may use it alongside my bed and sofa, however. Right now, I'm using it in my study, and the mobile desk is doing a great job at what I needed it for: holding my laptop at whatever work level I'm comfortable with. It's a little on the expensive side, but more durable to make up for the cost. I suspect this table will last me a very long time. ... show more

Multi use desk
In love with the ease of use with this multipurpose standing desk. My husband enjoys using it after hours of sitting in his office chair. But that is not the only use! We have also used it several times for putting next to the bed when we’ve been sick and needed to do work in bed, or even eat dinner. It’s lightweight and simple to assemble. It has wheels so it can be moved around effortlessly. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. ... show more

A sturdy, smooth‑adjusting, and highly versatile overbed desk that looks great in the brown finish.
The brown color gives it a warm, furniture‑like look that blends well with a bedroom or living room. It does not look clinical or cheap, which is something I appreciate in a mobile desk. It holds my laptop and planner with no problem, and it keeps everything out of reach from little hands. I can even eat breakfast in bed without worrying about where to set things. It takes up no extra space, and I can still use it while on my stepper. Because of the C‑shaped frame, the bottom slides under the bed and the top comes over it. The desktop is 27.5 inches wide, but only about 21.5 inches of that is usable from the post to the edge. With my 13‑inch laptop, there is no room for a mouse on the right side unless I switch to the opposite side of the bed. Depending on your layout, this may or may not matter. The adjustable height range is excellent. The hydraulic lift is smooth, and once set, it does not drift or drop even with weight on it. Lowering it takes a bit of force, but that also means it stays exactly where you want it. The desk has more weight than expected, which adds stability. It feels solid and does not wobble, even when bumped. Assembly was simple. It comes in three main pieces, and the eight bolts go together quickly. The wheels roll well, even on carpet, and the wide base keeps it steady. I am not worried about it tipping over. The height range makes it useful in multiple positions. At the lowest setting, it sits almost level with couch cushions. At the highest setting, I can stand comfortably with plenty of room. I have used it for work, meals, and as a rolling utility surface. It has held up well and feels durable enough for long‑term use. Even though the instructions could be clearer for someone less experienced, the actual assembly process is straightforward. Overall, this is a versatile and well‑constructed mobile desk. The brown color looks great, the build quality is strong, and the stability gives me confidence when using it with my laptop, gaming devices, and other gear. It costs more than some alternatives, but the reliability and convenience make it worth it. ... show more

Fantastic Standing Mobile Table
This HAPPYMONT mobile standing desk is very, very nice! I'll go into detail below, but if you're looking for the short version; feels very well made, feels very stable, feels very reliable, and has an impressive height range. Definitely recommended. Okay, right out of the gate, I was very surprised how this arrived. In the past, I've put together plenty of furniture ordered online, from chairs to tables to carts, and the vast majority has arrived in many, many pieces, no matter how simple the item seems. Given this table has a lifting mechanism, I was very much expecting the same. Silly me! This table arrives in a grand total of three pieces, requiring eight screws (they give you an extra, and a tool for it). You just attach the riser to the desktop, and then the base to the riser, and you're done! Putting it together took all of about ten minutes, and honestly, it only took that long because of how heavy this thing is. It is very, VERY well made, it feels very durable, and they did not cheap out on the components. This baby is dense and very metal. I prefer my furniture well made and durable, so this is a huge plus to me, but if you're looking for something lightweight, this one isn't it! This feels like a table I can still be using 20 years from now. It rolls well enough, though I'd only recommend it on hardwood floors, otherwise you're gonna have to put a little force into moving it. My only issue with the table is that one of the wheels on mine keeps falling out. Each wheel is it's own little piece, set into a rotating bearing and then that bearing is pressed into the socket, they arrive all pre-seated. For whatever reason, one of mine is not firmly set-in like the other 3. We're talking about tiny tolerances for something like this to remain snug; I could probably fix it with a couple pieces of tape, or a layer of nail polish, but I'm not even going to bother. It's not an issue; I pressed it back into the slot, and once the table is standing, it stays in the slot. I'm only mentioning it because it is literally the only flaw I've got to report; the tabletop itself is excellent, thick, flat. The base and riser are both very heavy and sturdy. The riser mechanism couldn't be simpler, and I was astonished at how high you can put the tabletop. This table would make for an excellent overbed table or around-the-office adjustable standing/sitting table. I would definitely recommend grabbing it if you're looking for one; the build quality feels excellent and the product feels well made. ... show more

Super useful but prone to tipping.
The desk has a nice wood like appearance that's similar to most laminated surfaces of this type. I enjoyed the adjustable nature to suit the current task. You can use it as a dinner table next to the couch, a standing desk for work, or a work platform for sorting objects. The wheels make it easy to move around when needed and the lever to adjust the height works well. It's very much like an office chair in that you only have to lift the lever to raise but you have to push down on it to lower. It does have a few limitations, though. Firstly, the weight limit on this is pretty light. You won't be performing heavy work on this, but it'll handle a laptop or some arts and crafts. Second, between the chapter materials used and the offset nature of the vertical portion, it's pretty prone to tipping, if you're not careful. All in all, a decent value for the money and I've gotten quite a bit of use out of it. Just keep in mind it's the usual quality you see from items like this and it won't survive abuse. ... show more

I love it for my cozy corner chair time or when I'm not feeling well I need things closerx
I am a part of Amazon Vine and will give an honest review on the things I received. I got the Mobile Standing Desk with Wheels, Rolling Laptop Table, Adjustable Overbed Table for Hospital & Home Use, Compact & Sturdy, Modern White, mostly due seizures and cancer. It helps keep things close to me when I'm unable to move as much. Pros: this thing is pretty sturdy, our two cats love to sleep on it at the same time.. so that's about 20 lb of moving weight and it doesn't even flinch. It was super easy to put together and took about 10 to 15 minutes building it in my bed. I do want to mention this thing gets extremely tall so if you have a taller bed this should work pretty well for you too. I also use this in my comfy corner chair in my room so it being versatile, having those Wheels make it really nice. Cons: N/A Notable: while this thing does roll under furniture quite nicely, I do want to note that if you have reclining couches it could be a possibility that it won't go under it due to the frame itself. So if you're getting this specifically for your living room furniture, check under it see. Your furniture may accidentally block it depending on what style you have. ... show more
