I have been looking for a travel external screen that I can use not only when I travel for work, but when I working from the dining room table or other stable surface other than at my office desk. This external monitor is just what I was looking for. It comes with a USB-C video/charging cable the connects to your MacBook usb-c connector and then it comes with a HDMI to mini-HDMI cable and a regular charging usb-c cable and charging brick. I only need the "thunderbolt" cable then I connect my MacBook cable into the monitor and it powers the monitor and charges the MacBook Air at the same time. The screen resolution is a perfect match 2560 × 1600 to the MacBook native resolution. I am not a monitor expert, but the quality of this external monitor is very close to the quality of my MacBook Air screen. It works perfect for using Microsoft Desktop to connect to my Work laptop that sits in a cradle on my desk. The external monitor make it feel like I have two laptops with one keyboard and mouse, my MacBook Air and my work laptop which is Windows 10. Yes it comes with speakers, but they aren't as quality as the MacBook Air so I don't have them on. I played "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" and the display kept up with the action and the blacks look inky and the color in HD looks good. Black Panther in 4k and IMAX enhanced looks great. The monitor cover doubles as the required stand as this external monitor doesn't physically hook onto the MacBook at all so you cannot perch this in your lap, you must have a stable surface to place it on. It is light-weight and the cover/stand protects the screen when stored. I feel this external monitor exceeds my expectations for the price.

This monitor is great! I was looking for something inexpensive for remote work because work refused to cover the cost of a second monitor even though they urged us to use one for their project! Go figure! Anywho, I got this one after seeing it recommended online. Well, all I had to do was plug the dual C cord into the monitor and into the laptop. That’s it! The monitor is powered by the laptop’s power. You can power it with the included power apparatus, bot you don’t have to. Also included is a mini hdmi cord in case you need to use that. I refused to spring for the 4K given the work situation, but the 1080p is perfectly fine, looks at least as good as my laptop screen. All you have to do is boot up the laptop with it plugged I’m, then go into your laptop display settings and configure them to extend the screen instead of having the same thing show on both, and to select whether you want the monitor to be to the left or to the right of your laptop. Once that is done, you can open anything and if you click at the top frame of that window, you can just drag it over from the laptop screen to the monitor screen. No bridge hardware needed!!! It comes with a magnetic case similar to an iPad mag case but bigger. It stands up via one of two ridges in the case. Great ease of use, great quality, and great value. Highly recommend!!!

Very easy to put together and use on the go. The screen picture is clear enough and comes with cables that plug right into my laptop and screen adjusts easily. The cover is great to keep it protected and use as a stand.
