These little bastie's really work. 16-in tire on a suburban, big hunk of steel, followed the directions, filled it up, put it on, let the truck down on it, no leak. It was a big hole too. Hardest part was getting the piece of steel out of the tire.

Cheap tire repair kit. Used half a tube of the rubber cement on a single tire repair. It has 2 full tubes but youre gonna use those up on 4 tire repairs. The good is that it's easy to use. You have to remember to rotate your tire down slightly so your screw driver will have clearance unless you use a stubby Phillips screw driver. Maybe they should charge more and include a stubby Phillips. That way you don't have to angle your tire .

I was a little apprehensive getting something new that didnt have many reviews. I made the dive and im really glad I did. I wanted it for my trip and ended up getting a screw in my tire a out 600 miles from home. I was able to use my Multi-tool and remove the screw and the same tool to add this patch. It was extremely to insert and the rubber cement after the 600 miles is still on and hasn't worn off. Im not doing pros and cons.. Just a product that works when you need it, plain and simple. I have checked my tire pressures before the drive and haven't lost a single psi.

The tire screw/plugs showed up quickly and well packaged. Have already had to use two of them, and both are holding up and airtight so far. Time will tell, but these are MUCH easier than the old way of patching holes. Simply replace a screw with no sealer on it with a screw WITH sealer on it. Apply black goop if you feel like it. Seems pretty straightforward, if they hold up over time. The tiny little capsules that the plugs are in makes it easy to throw a few in your glovebox, and carry a Phillips screwdriver with you, and you are set for roadside flats.

They work great…..if you use the right size plug [the first time]. I had a blow out and pulled a long screw out of my tire. I installed the plug, covered it with the goop and allowed it to dry. Inflated the tire and found there was a second hole nearby. Plugged that one, covered it with the goop and allowed it to dry. Inflated the tire again, only to discover that the first plug was leaking. As much as I tried to remove it, the only option was to push it through to the inside of the tire. I plugged it again with a larger plug and repeated the process. The hole(s) were finally plugged and the tire holds air. I would recommend using a plug slightly larger than what you think it needs. The goop usage should be minimal, because it does take a while to dry and completely seal. I’m going to have to replace the tire, as well as the other rear tire, because I don’t feel comfortable with two plugs so close to one another, but for a single puncture these should work fine….provided you use the right size plug the first time.

Bought this product to repair a single hole fairly centered in my tire tread. Used my own tools (small pliers) to remove a screw that was impeded and was causing a slow leak. The head of the screw was so mangled that I couldn't use a phillips screwdriver to remove it. I picked this item because it had both sealant in the repair part and a separate tube of glue to help get a good seal. I'm big on using the "easy way" out...sometimes to my own disadvantage...in this case I made sure the tire was fully inflated and then removed the offending screw. Then quickly inserted and, using a phillips screwdriver, turned the rubber nail into the hole. I had coated the nail with sealant glue from one of the tubes. The hole the tire was sealed immediately. I lost 10 pounds of pressure (from 35 lbs to 25 lbs) during the process. The whole repair process took, perhaps, 15 minutes. Five of them spent getting the tire positioned to easily reach the offending screw and the rest with the removing the "intruder", preparing the coated mail and tightening it in place. I waited several hours before driving to a nearby tire pressure station to refill the tire to its proper pressure. It had been over 2 weeks and the seal is holding perfectly. I like that there are two sizes of "nails" in the kit. It is certainly worth the price even if I only repair one tire. It would be nice (but it would increase the cost) if a phillips head driver was included. I think this was an easy, quick way to repair my tire.

I've had to use them 3 times. 1st time the plug worked great, the 2nd and 3rd time, not so well. Placing a bigger size nail plug, the covering on the nail came off as I was placing it in the hole. Didn't seal very well, and using the smaller size, Didn't work either. I will not be ordering these again.
