I got this set to repair a tire with a nail in it. It worked perfectly. The tire is still sealed after a couple weeks of driving and letting it sit. I am getting a couple new tires soon but this kit saved me from a stressful day at the tire repair shop spending much more than this kit and I still have many many repairs left incase of a future incident. This is a must have in you glove compartment. It is easy to use. Be sure to keep a pair of rubber gloves with it because the rubber cement is messy. It comes with everything you need except the Phillips screw driver. There are screws in several sizes for different scenarios.

This is a great tire repair kit that is very good any time you have a regular flat. It’s comfort to know you can do this repair easily. You will need some kind of air compressor. A portable air compressor that you can plug into your vehicle cigarette lighter will help you in any situation. I feel this kit is well worth the price.

Haven’t tried it yet but it looks like a good product and in a pinch would definitely get you back on the road if you didn’t break the bead of the tire and you are carrying a portable air compressor.

Bought this product to repair a single hole fairly centered in my tire tread. Used my own tools (small pliers) to remove a screw that was impeded and was causing a slow leak. The head of the screw was so mangled that I couldn't use a phillips screwdriver to remove it. I picked this item because it had both sealant in the repair part and a separate tube of glue to help get a good seal. I'm big on using the "easy way" out...sometimes to my own disadvantage...in this case I made sure the tire was fully inflated and then removed the offending screw. Then quickly inserted and, using a phillips screwdriver, turned the rubber nail into the hole. I had coated the nail with sealant glue from one of the tubes. The hole the tire was sealed immediately. I lost 10 pounds of pressure (from 35 lbs to 25 lbs) during the process. The whole repair process took, perhaps, 15 minutes. Five of them spent getting the tire positioned to easily reach the offending screw and the rest with the removing the "intruder", preparing the coated mail and tightening it in place. I waited several hours before driving to a nearby tire pressure station to refill the tire to its proper pressure. It had been over 2 weeks and the seal is holding perfectly. I like that there are two sizes of "nails" in the kit. It is certainly worth the price even if I only repair one tire. It would be nice (but it would increase the cost) if a phillips head driver was included. I think this was an easy, quick way to repair my tire.
