I’m a 6’4” 275 human so I have a bit of strength 😃 The bucket itself is made from thick, durable plastic that feels strong and built to last. The handle is basic but can tell this bucket will hold up for many years of regular use without cracking or warping.     • Seal is not air tight!

Good size and good quality, but the lid is not air tight at all. I had to tape it down on the sides to prevent anything from spillage. This was before pulling off the pull strip along the rim, where the lid was still loose. There is no way to screw the lid tight as it is a clasp seal. The handle is secure and locks into place when it's upright, which is a positive. I was going to use this bucket for soil to prevent air and moisture, but I recommend double checking the seal upon purchase, as it is not consistent. ... show more

These are good for the price. I like black because it blocks the light. The weight feels normal and not cheap. One thing that bothers me is one lid is already sealed and I cant get it off without removing the taper strip seal, strap thingy. The seal is defiantly not air tight. The buckets arrived on time and they are really heavy duty, food grade. I chose black plastic to keep light out of contact with what I am storing. I recommend these buckets as they are high quality and heavy duty.
