This is a beautiful curtain. I was worried it might look cheap because it's such a good deal, buts it's excellent material, beautiful and elegant. It's heavy and needs a strong rod or hooks to hang from. Perfect length for my large windows. I was worried my cats would chew on it because of the material but they don't even mess with it, I think because it is heavy and thick. No Odor 👍 Obviously not complete coverage, but looks great between two curtains, or by itself on a wall. So many possibilities and so BOHO - I love it! ... show more

May 10, 2026 So here I am a couple years later and was thinking how I use this curtain almost daily, sliding it across the tension rod, if I need to use the door. It’s still perfect! (I used a tension rod inside my porch for my screen door.) It really adds a lot of privacy as my nextdoor neighbor is a bit too close. Actually maybe not privacy… but it sure helps distort the view of the side of his house. The other great part is that it is attractive to look at when I am inside and glance to the porch, I am greeted by these neat looking knots. This is a really well made piece and it is holding up perfectly. One of my best ever Amazon purchases. (I wish I could find a need or use for another one… I like it that much!) First review below- My idea with this curtain was to add some privacy to my side porch that has a screen door. Many times I would walk out on the porch and see my neighbor in his yard, and he would look and see me. I just like being a bit more private but didn’t want to block the door, the air or the light. I got a heavy duty plastic shower tension rod and put it in the doorway at the top, then hung the curtain on it. The curtain easily slides over, when the door is being used but also provides so much needed privacy, when desired. I am so happy with my idea and how well this purchase worked for me! When I saw the customer photos of these macrame "curtains" on Amazon, I just had to order them. I liked that they were different than regular sheet curtain panels. Loved the intricate design at the top. It reminded me of the old window transoms found in victorian houses. I was looking for something that would would provide privacy in my living room since I live in a condo and there is very little privacy. The curtains were not exactly what I would call "sheer" but they filtered light real well and provided the privacy I wanted and needed. I ended up returning them because although they looked lovely in the customer photos, in reality they were a bit more rustic boho than I wanted. If I had a covered patio or a gazebo or a hot-tub awning, I would definitely want to use these; but for my living room they were just a bit too heavy and rustic. This curtain fit perfectly in the entryway to my home office, which is a bit wider than a normal doorway at 47 inches. I love that this curtain's not fully opaque because of the strings so it still lets some light through to the next room, but it's still thick enough to block the view into the next room from the view of video calls. It was easy to install onto a tension rod since the loops are nice and large. The strings aren't quite all the same length, but the can be easily fixed with some scissors if it's an issue.
