My daughter absolutely loves this set. Being the color is white and is lightweight she actually stays cooler. The size is ordered 1 above and fits her nicely. The helmet is very nice. No complaints and it has been used 4/5 times a week for over a month now. Definitely would recommend.

We purchased this set as an upgrade for our taller than average 10 year old daughter. After wearing out a Rawlings starter set to prove she was serious about being a catcher we finally decided it was time for a serious set. What my husband likes most about this set is how solid it is built. The chest protector has a lot more padding than our previous set and my daughter prefers the fit of is over the last set. The part that stands out to my husband is the coverage/protection provided at the knees and thighs. These shin guards go up above the knee more than our last set and the layers around the knee provide much better protection. My favorite part are the straps that go underneath her cleats. It really helps prevent the leg guards from shifting all over the place which was a huge issue with our last set. This set is well worth the money. ... show more

Bought last year, played through three seasons of ball and had zero issues. Warranty ended two months ago and the padding inside the helmet has started coming unglued. Mizuno honored the warranty and is now sending us a replacement helmet. Can’t beat their customer service! Plus, this set looks so cool. We get lots of compliments. ... show more

My daughter was in desperate need of an upgrade. This seems very durable and “tough.” The shin guards have great protection around the whole leg and ankle…even has a strap for under the foot. The chest protector is a little big on her right now but she is very thin. She’s 5’5” and 125lbs. Love the design on the helmet too. Can’t wait to see her in action with it!     • Straps fall off and foam in helment comes out less the 6 months of use!

Bought at christmas havent used 6 months the leg straps constantly fall off and we have had to hot glue the foam pieces in helment bc they were falling out. She used once a week. Terrible quality
