So for a mixing glass, all you need is a heavy glass with a heavy bottom and a pointy pour spout, and a patterned gripping area. This was the least expensive so therefore the best.

The product arrived perfectly packaged and cushioned, no issues, and is exactly as described. Tested it in action, and performs as the elegant and functional mixer one needs in the bar. I personally didn't have this tool in my bar, but saw Netflix's "Drink Masters" plus some Bartender YouTubers videos essential tools and discovered that *I really needed this mixer*. Price/value is on par. I'm no expert on crystal vs glass, but seems sturdy enough and heavy enough at the base so it doesn't tilt when mixing with the bar spoon. This is a great addition to anyone’s bar. Looks beautiful and is functional with the rounded bottom for easy stirring. I was a little hesitant buying this product as other reviews talked about durability, breakage, etc. This glass has a heavy bottom and the sides appear to be thicker than a normal drinking glass, which I used prior to this purchase. I never broke or had a drinking glass break. As with any type of glassware, a little care must be taken. But, after seeing and using this mixing glass, I believe it will last a very long time. I use a solid metal muddler and stirring spoon and this glass will be fine. ... show more

It’s got to have large capacity, have weight, and stir easy with a barspoon and it does all of these things. Looking nice while you stir gets your guests anticipating the liquid delight to come.

    • It’s….a little wonky
The first one I received had a residue all around the glass that could not be removed. Contacted support and they suggested returning it to Amazon and ordering a new one. New one is much better but it is lopsided. Doesn’t affect the use but… not a bad product but QC could be better.

Purchased this to accompany a set of vintage glasses. The pattern matched perfectly, and the mixer seems solid with a heavy bottom. There were some small bubbles in the glass, but they aren’t too noticeable. However, there was a small piece of white particulate embedded in the base part of the glass.
