This is a nice set overall, especially for a beginner cocktail-maker who wants to step up their game but doesn't want to break the bank. It even comes with a cute little cocktail recipe booklet! It has WAAAY more than I'll personally need for a long time, but I like knowing that I can use all the elements in the future. Two changes that would be great to make: 1) The logo on the box is printed backwards. For that reason, I'm not sure I'd recommend this set as a gift. The backwards logo makes it look a bit cheap. 2) The bottle stoppers are the only component that aren't stainless steal! I was really disappointed in that, because those are the parts i'm likely to use most frequently. They don't look bad, but their light weight is disappointing. ... show more

Mixing cocktails is a lot of fun with this kit! Because this kit is so complete there are a few items that may not get used right away. The basic jigger/shaker/spoon/strainer all work well. The pour spouts worked well but as there are only 2 of them changing them from bottle to bottle is impractical. I found they worked better on my triple sec and amaretto bottles where I would need just a little bit for lots of different drinks. The base spirits were easy enough to measure with the jigger. The muddler handle could be a little longer to work comfortably in a pint or collins glass but it worked well in the rocks glasses. The presentation and ability to display everything definitely makes this a highly giftable item, and a very functional one, since everything in the kit has a home. ... show more

Very impressed with this well designed, attractive product. The set is incredibly comprehensive and includes everything you need to make a wide variety of delicious cocktails at home. From the shaker and jigger to the strainer and stirrer, all of the tools are well-made and durable, and the set even comes with a recipe booklet should you need a little inspiration for your spirits! The stand is also a great feature, providing a convenient and organized way to store and display all of the tools. It looks great on my bar cart and makes it easy to access everything I need when making cocktails. The set is also very easy to clean and maintain, and the high-quality materials have held up beautifully so far.
