If you’re particular with your mustard yellow shades, I would say these photos are the most accurate. The fabric is soft and has a slight shine to it but it’s really not noticeable like the reviews had mentioned. What’s noticeable are the wrinkles! It does wrinkle easily but I personally don’t mind that part. The fabric quality is nice. I wash/dry them at the laundromat and they’re still in great shape. ... show more

When I got my cover I was expecting it to be more yellow than gold (like the picture shown) and also thought it was going to have the little squares too but it doesn't which doesn't bother me. I'm just absolutely in love with the color. It's so soft and comfortable. The only thing I don't like about it so far is that my blanket seems to bunch up a lot while being in the cover but I think this is well worth the money. ... show more

My daughter ordered this for her room and it is beautiful! The color is very deep and rich looking, like a gorgeous butternut squash - I find it to be a very soothing color. It's a very soft cotton blend that has a very subtle sheen to it that looks more like a silk blend. Great buy, do it!

I love this comforter cover. I love it so much that I went out of my way to buy an insert when I could have just bought a similar color to this and not spend 70 dollars overall. The color was the prettiest I'd ever seen, and I loved the combination of pillowcases too. That being said, the color is exactly the same. It's just the tiniest bit...harsher? in person and a single hue off which is to be expected because the sample photos are in a bright lit room and angled. If the color is what sells you, absolutely get it!!! The texture is not soft like fur, but it is down-y. It almost has the same texture as a sleeping bag, but not as slick or as rugged if that makes sense. Filled with even a cheap duvet cover, its warm enough for me to have to sleep outside of it half the time because the heat builds. The layers of the duvet cover + insert makes it almost thermal. I really recommend it and they aren't even paying me to say it lol. One of the only amazon orders I've ever been completely 100% satisfied with. ... show more

The price of this set had me a little skeptical, but the reviews made me decide it was worth giving it a go and seeing for myself how this duvet set would work for me. If it didn't work out, hey - I would only be out $40. I was very impressed! My last duvet cover set was thicker, but I’ve found that I like this set much more. It’s incredibly soft and because it’s a more lightweight material, my down comforter looks and feels fluffier. Before, my duvet set was flattening it out more than I’d like. This washed up nicely, and I love having a zipper instead of buttons, and I also appreciated having the ties on the inside! I hated having to readjust my comforter all the time!! These sheets are a shinier material then what I’m used to, I usually use soft cotton sheets but these are nice once you get used to them. The color is as close to gold as I would expect which is exactly what I wanted and it fit my comforter perfectly with no worries with excess material. It has a zipper to close it off on the open end and it’s designed in a way so that the zipper is seamless. The biggest pro about everything I bought from this company including the bed sheets and extra pillowcases are there it’s designed to be seamless which I love. Edit: after contacting the seller about the broken zipper issue, they were quick to respond and offer a solution to it. I’m editing my review to be 5 stars because of the great customer service I received. I would consider purchasing again from them because I know they’ll take care of any issues promptly. Overall satisfied with product but zipper broke after putting comforter into the cover. I do not think it’s worth the price for it to break the first time using it. ... show more
