Okay, I need to say something shocking: MIXC… you did it. After my traumatic experience with your sad, flimsy nursery pots (which I gave a well-earned 1-star review and am still emotionally recovering from), I bought these seed starter trays with the same optimism I reserve for gas station sushi. But plot twist — they actually work! The trays are sturdy, the humidity domes fit like they mean it, it comes with the ability to open and close the vent and my wildflower seeds are sprouting like they’re on a mission to reclaim the yard. I deducted one star, because, well, I still have trust issues (looking at you, collapsing pots of doom), and the plastic isn’t exactly heirloom quality — but for starting seeds? These are more than up to the job. They’re the comeback story of the season. MIXC, you’ve redeemed yourself… at least until I try transplanting. Stay tuned. ... show more

So. I've used these for two seasons. They work. The lids fit fine and I like having them on to help germinate seeds a bit faster. No issues with leaking. However, I hate these seed trays/cells. Using them heavily this year, they have been so much frustration because the holes on the bottom of the cells are so small and it's nearly impossible to get my seedlings OUT. I had to use a chopstick to loosen around the edges. So frustrating and I've accidentally torn seedlings in the process. As I've been planting my seedlings, I've been tossing the trays in the trash because I can't take it. ... show more
