I ordered these curtains in 2 different sizes for 2 different doors. One door for side light windows and then this door in the picture with the full light windows. The curtains DO allow you to see right into the house. To solve test problem I put bubble wrap behind them in the window, cheap and easy. Now you can’t see into the house at all. You can see if the light is on at night but no details. Works perfect for what we needed. ... show more

Our beagle went a little nuts over a squirrel recently and tore a hole in one of our sidelight curtains trying to see out. The 20-yr-old old curtains from JCPenney were very good quality and I haven’t been able to find ones that nice anywhere. These sidelight curtains are decent and I like the texture, but are very sheer and see-through. I put both curtains on one window and it’s just right — let’s light in and we can see who’s at the door. Just ordered a second pair for the other window. We recently had a new entry door with sidelights installed. I ordered the blue and gray sets of these curtains. They are fantastic. They let in light while still giving privacy. I am very pleased. The material and stitching are good quality making this a great value. These look really nice and fit perfectly in our sidelight windows with plenty of material to bunch them up for a tailored decorative look. I coupled these with another set of sheers that has a pattern - the patterned sheers are on the inside with these white sheers close to the window so from outside you really only see the white sheers. Bunching them gives a little bit of privacy while letting in plenty of light through. If you're looking for complete privacy you probably don't want sheers at all.
