I live in Utah and we get the hot sun in the afternoon and these curtains work great also we get really cold weather and snow. These curtains help keep it warmer. What I loved about them is the way they hang very straight and look very elegant.. I did have to press them to get the shipping wrinkles out. I used a medium warm iron and a damp cotton dish towel. Honestly, I just knew I was going to end up returning these. I had found something really cheap somewhere else- but NOPE! These are REAL great quality. They are True black out. Think, heavy but good fabric. Plus bonus they were the perfect “odd” 74 in I needed and I’ve been dragging other 84 in curtains for a year and half - my hubby and I are late shift workers and I prefer a cave of darkenness and we sleep upstairs in an old hot house and these have made a huge difference already!!!! People I’ve had these curtains for like 2 hours and came here to write. Review - obviously I’m a fan.
