Purchased these during a cold snap to block off a back hallway that has no heating and was making the rest of that part of the house freezing. The back tab enables the curtain material above the rod to cover all the way up to the ceiling and the 90-inch length still touched the floor for full insulation. Very effective, could feel the difference right away. Very attractive too, with a light, neutral oatmeal/linen color that works with any color scheme. Price was reasonable for the quality. Sharing these photos, because I was on the fence for days - trying to decide which color to buy. I went with the beige. I washed all panels on delicate and then dried them on a normal setting. Wrinkles came right out and they washed beautifully! I shared a photo of the top of the curtains. This explains the 5 stars. Not only are the curtains 100% blackout, but the fabric is soft yet sturdy. Notice how the top keeps a pleat. I used the back tabs to hang. They have weight to them, which helps, because I double-upped on the panels. You can’t tell, as they hang together seamlessly. I compared the beige color in various light settings and then held them next to my white sheers. The curtain is lighter during the day, and the coloring warms up at night. Very cozy! ... show more

For the price, these drapes surprised me. The stitching and finish is excellent. The color is as shown. The ease of care is very nice. The fabric feels a little plastic-like, but i dont hug my curtains a lot. The curtains had wrinkles when I removed them from the packaging. I tossed them in the dryer on tumble cool down, then hung them immediately. The wrinkles smoothed out. The drapes look very nice and with the insulation backing, I hope these curtains will help keep my South facing room cooler in the Summer. A good value. ... show more

I bought these curtains to hang in the nursery to help my baby sleep at night with the street lights on outside. These work great! It's a good thing that we have a red light/sound machine that stays on all night or I wouldn't be able to get around in the room! Definitely recommend. The curtains are also thick and good quality. Very cute color, blackout 100%, and it looks fancy, however, the material is very cheap. We get a lot of sun in our bedrooom and the odor that the curtain releases is very strong. When we did reasearch on the smells we found that the primary cause of the foul smell that seemingly comes with a set of blackout curtains is the manufacturing process. Older manufacturing processes involved coating a piece of polyester fabric with layers of acrylic foam and adhesives to achieve the blackout properties.
