If I could buy this product for every cat owner I would. I have a short haired turkish van that sheds way too much. Literally every time you pick him up expect to be covered in white hairs. I've gotten rid of half of the black in mr wardrobe because of how many lint rollers I was having to buy. I've been searching the depths of the Earth for the perfect brush or comb for a long time and I've just never had any luck. I tried the metal groomer comb, the bristle brushes, every single one available at petco and NOTHING worked. I settled for using a shampoo brush which got a great deal of hair out but my boy didn't enjoy the feeling and would try to run away. THIS BRUSH RIGHT HERE!?!! My pit bull has a major shedding problem. I've used other products in the past. Some did not remove hair. Others did, but it exploded out of her into the air, settling either on me or back on her. This brush does an excellent job of not only removing her loose fur, but also catching it in the teeth so I can dispose of it easily. This has been a life saver for me, and depending on the day, a curse if you ask my cat. The brush does a great job at getting to my cat’s undercoat and helps cut down on her dandruff and shedding. It helps to use this brush first and then a regular brush afterwards to pick up any left over hair. The brush is pretty sharp, so if you have a skittish cat like myself, you need to be very careful. Just received this yesterday, and pulled about 100 pounds (exaggeration, but it was a lot) of hair off of my two dogs - I can easily see how they say you can reduce shedding by 90% with frequent use. For the first time using it...BE OUTSIDE! Lol, there will be a lot of hair coming off

It is good at grabbing the fine undercoat hair my cat was shedding in the summer, but since there isn’t a lot of surface area on the brush the loosened fur could just fly around if you’re not careful.
