Features

  • Enhanced Safety: The hold down stick can keep your hands away from the miter saw, where you may be injured by the blade when making precise cuts on wood.
  • Non-slip Rubber Feet: The stick has three non-slip rubber feet that can effectively hold, fix and push wood from a distance.
  • Ergonomics Grip Shape: The smooth line design allows for a comfortable grip and reduces the pressure on the hands during the operation of the cutting saw.
  • Design at Both Ends: The pressure bar has different designs on both ends, with two forked ends for holding down small pieces of wood, and a single fork end for cleaning up some wood chips.
  • Recommended for: Assisting precise cutting, recommended for carpenters who need to work frequently and DIY enthusiasts who need adequate protective preparation.

  • Good safety tool for miter saw
After having a close call using my miter saw I checked around for safety equipment. I found an article explaining how a miter saw stick can help prevent accidents. I use push sticks on my table saw so this seemed like what I needed. After researching online, I settled on this item because of its favorable reviews. The item is well made and easy to use (so you will use it). I am satisfied with this product. ... show more

  • A Must-Have Tool for all Woodworkers
If you own a miter saw, you have to have one of these! It is a finger-saver!

  • Saved the day for me!
We've been adding some decorative trim to our newell post to spruce it up a bit and give a builder-grade post a more custom look. I was fine with most of the pieces that I cut but when it came to cutting a really small piece at an angle that absolutely required the miter saw I had no idea how I was going to safely cut it. Thankfully this thing exists and I have to admit I was skeptical. I even nearly closed my eyes when I made the cut - but it held perfectly. In the past I used sacrificial pieces of wood to hold things like this, only to have the trim piece I was cutting go flying across the room, never to be found again. But this thing saved the day! I can see how this is a must-have for every cut I make from now on, it's just so much safer than having your hands anywhere near that blade. ... show more

  • Good, but takes practice to use on the smallest pieces.
It is good for what I use it for, however it takes some practice for the smallest pieces. It takes some skill to use this tool. The first few times I used it on smaller pieces, the saw launched them across the garage. The good part is that my fingers were nowhere near the saw blade. Since then, I have been able to keep some smaller wood pieces in place, but the smallest pieces still have a risk of going flying. Use the tool wisely. ... show more

  • Your finger is worth a little more than this device!
Great idea. You can make your own, but for $15 bucks do yourself a favor. It works perfectly for small/short cuts on your miter saw. Well made, rubber feet for a good hold down. Length seem about right, adds to safety, and very reasonably priced. Buy it, you’ll like it.
